“I had a very disappointing experience at this pub. I came in for a lunch of drinks and food, but it quickly became frustrating. The upstairs seating area was open, yet we were told we couldn't order food there. Meanwhile, the tables downstairs were reserved for later in the evening, but we weren't allowed to sit there either. When I asked the bar staff for clarification, they confirmed we could sit at the downstairs table, but didn’t offer us food and rudely mentioned we'd have to move if a bigger group arrived. The lack of hospitality and poor communication left me feeling unwelcome, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.”

Had a great meal Saturday and tonight 30/07/2024 I had the most horrendous excuse for a seafood chowder. Weak, full of grit and shell. Young lady saw the shell and agreed as I was paying my bill, more fool me. No apology just said she would tell the chef and asked me what I normally had? Martin Taylor”
