“We love the hatch chilies. The delivery was confusing to us the bags had no logo or information on them and while the inside of the box was “cool” the chilies were not frozen as usual. We paid extra for a timely delivery.”

“Our order arrived thawed out twice, the Hatch Chili Store sent it out next day shipping and it showed up still frozen, we had the Tamales and Rellenos for dinner and was not disappointed, being from Southern NM I was missing authentic Mexican food”

“Even though the chile isn’t bad tasting, the chile isn’t anything close to being carefully roasted and “hand” preeled. The chile came chopped and frozen which is what I ordered but it was basically raw. The consistency isn’t soft as it would be if it was properly roasted. It was disappointing. I did speak with staff and they informed me that: “They had a bad season this past season and the consistency is due to that” and “they spoke to the owner and could not offer me anything and their decision is set in stone”. Won’t need anything from them again.”

“I was so glad I found you. We had gone to Albuquerque and I couldn't find a ristra anywhere. Apparently it was the wrong season so found the hatch chili store and had one sent. It's beautiful! It was a gift for my sister and she loves it. Thanks hatch chili! I also enjoy all the receipts on your website. Will be ordering again soon.”

“My first order of frozen whole green chilis arrived thawed and warm. The box had been partially crushed in transit rendering the insulation ineffective. I contacted the store and they shipped me a replacement order at no charge. The new shipment arrived fully frozen this morning. Kudos to the business and especially Emily for outstanding customer service. Bobby Ward”

“My 86yo mother was born in 1937 in Albuquerque and came to Cali around 1950. By then, NM green chile (NMGC) was as essential for her, as breathing. Her family sent NMGC in quantity to freeze for the entire yr. Now that they are all dead, she still buys it from connections she has. I decided to try The Hatch Chile Store and wasn't disappointed. Just like the stuff I grew up on. It's part of my make-up to despite being born in Cali.”

“YUM!!! YUM!!! YUM!!! For My Tummy..!!! Hatch Green & Red Chile's are WITHOUT A QUESTION are the absolute the finest Green Chiles I use in ALL my recipes..!!! Especially, "My Nevada Style Santa Maria Pinquito and Pinto Carne Asada Chile.!!!!" My Orders arrive in an orderly fashion, well packed, and with a nice thank you note from Randy & Carol McMillan... Never had to refund a thing, and they make Great "Thank You" gifts to my special friends....!!!! Thank You, John Collier, Reno, NV-" GREAT Out in the Middle of a Cow Pasture Dutch Oven Cook"..!!!!!”

“My Grandfather was from Hatch Aaron Trujillo. He grew some of the best chile in Hatch that was over 55 years ago. I spent my free time with my Grandparents as a child. My favorite meals were served with green chile. I only buy hatch green chile.”

“Sorry Hatch Chili Store, two stars is only because Daniel in customer support was so good. I placed my order for Chile Rellenos and some how added Hatch Chili which I didn't want so Daniel gave me credit on the unwanted chili. I got a notice that my order had been shipped so I started tracking it. UPS ground from New Jersey??? Well, my Hatch Chile Rellenos are made or warehoused or whatever in New Jersey??? That's interesting! Daniel explained to me later when my shipment arrived after a week in transport (no longer frozen) a mess! He told me The Hatch Chile Company has warehouses in New Jersey and California to get their product to customers quickly. Funny how a small family owned company in Hatch, New Mexico can afford to have a warehouse on each coast! So, my experience with the small family owned and run Hatch Chile Company didn't work out so well. I did get a total refund even on the insurance the company has the customer pay for to protect the company in case the shipment doesn't arrive or in my case arrives thawed and nasty.”

“The rellanos are just like New Mexico!! The tamales are incredible. I now live in the deep south and these products take me back to NM where I previously lived. The green chili in the jars was a little disappointing as I ordered hot and it wasn't very hot to me ( though I'm used to hot chili!).”
