Had a few chilis that were wrinkled and pouring liquid out. The rest were in good condition.

Myrna was great on phone. Need to work on distribution. Shouldn't get NM chili from New Jersey! Took a week to get through on phone.

Hi George! We actually use these DC's to make our products more affordable as shipping from here in NM to the vast majority of the US would cost 30-35% more. I can ship a full truckload on a refrigerated semi for less than a dollar per case to the DC's, and still pay them to pick/pack the orders and ship ground for FAR less than shipping air from here right to a customer's door. Amazon does the same thing, taking products and storing/shipping from DC's as close to the major population centers as they can. We hope to grow enough this year to have the volume to hit minimum order thresholds to add a third location in Kansas this year to cover the middle of the country and cut down on thaws and shipping expense for our customers even further. I'm sorry you don't like this model, but we really do use it to make our chile more accessible to everyone :)

I ordered medium hatch chile and there is no heat at all, not even a little bit. There’s flavor but no heat. A bit disappointed.

The hatch green chiles are the best and very spicy. The red enchilada sauce is very silky but it has a ketchup flavor to me and i prefer blending my own dried New Mexico chiles which has a fantastic flavor. The 575 red sauce I have not tried yet and I’m looking forward to make some delicious enchiladas.

Hi, 1st time buyer and I was so excited to receive freshly picked hatch green chilies. Maybe I had way to high of expectations because the chilies I received were very small and very thin. Tips were starting to rot. All I wanted was decent size chilies to make chili relleno's. After roasting they split and there wasnt enough skins to cover cheese after I put it inside. My bad.. I guess it is buyer beware. Flavor was out of this world though. Very expensive lesson and I feel so bad about this. Thank you Brad

The chilis are excellent, and I’m happy that I found your store. The only thing that would keep me from ordering again is the long process of getting the order filled and shipped. We went back and forth several times as the product sold out and was unavailable. Some of that was initiated by me when I had not heard anything for a couple weeks. All in all, it took a long time to receive after ordering. Maybe there was a warning on the website that I did not see.

We are NM fam now living in CA. We crave our NM chili! My order of "HOT" green chili came, and all arrived in excellent shape but so far no heat. This is the only time this has happened so I'm not judging to harshly, but I am wondering what I paid for, because I could have bought CA Anaheim chilies and saved a ton of $$!

Order arrived in good shape, mostly still frozen. We peeled and chopped and piled chili on everything for the next three or four days. We moved here from NM and needed a good chili fix. This chili, even though the package says hot, is not hot, not warm, just green. It has the good green flavor but there is virtually no heat. I've purchased many buschels every fall out of Hatch over the last 30+ years and I know when I get hot and when I don't. My recommendation is based on the product - as advertised - or - not as advertised.

I know it is beyond your control. UPS experienced delivery issues deliverying the chiles almost 5 days later instead of the Express Delivery that I paid. The chiles were smelley, but still good.

I was under the assumption that they would be shipped overnight or 2 day shipping. Mine were not and when they arrived there were several in each box that were spoiled. Not the freshest that I had expected for $42 shipping charge.

Ordered "Big JIm" fresh green chile from your store and found it to be extremely mild and without taste, that is, not what I am used to. Therefore, I went to my local H-E-B and bought the same and it had flavor plus just the right amount of heat.

Still waiting for a notice that replacement peppers have been sent to me, and when to expect them.

Received our 25 lb box of green Chile about a week and a half after ordering. Waited a couple days to grill them all on the weekend, by which time about 25% were already bad and leaking. Another 10-15% were already ripe and red. Relative to buying in the store frozen, it worked out to about $10 per bag, which would normally run $6-7 in the frozen section.
