I know it is beyond your control. UPS experienced delivery issues deliverying the chiles almost 5 days later instead of the Express Delivery that I paid. The chiles were smelley, but still good.

The chile was wonderful. I had a problem with getting it on time. Had about 20 spoiled Chiles because it was delivered on time. The chile is very good.

This was my third year ordering peppers. The prior two years were excellent. This year was not. The shipment was supposed to arrive on a Thursday. It did not arrive until the following Monday. Four extra days on a hot truck resulted in many peppers being mushy and had to be thrown away (at least 30 peppers from a 25 pound order). Plus, many of the stems were black and shriveled. This indicates to me the peppers were picked several days before shipment. On the positive side, when I reported the shipment problem, the company responded by sending me 10 pounds of peppers, which I hope t receive this week. This resulted in my going from 1 star to 4 stars.

I look forward to my shipment of "Lumbre" green chilis every year and really enjoy their flavor ahd heat. I share them with friends and they love them as much as I do. I give this year's harvest a big "Thumbs Up!!!"

I was under the assumption that they would be shipped overnight or 2 day shipping. Mine were not and when they arrived there were several in each box that were spoiled. Not the freshest that I had expected for $42 shipping charge.

Preston you are so right. You and your marvelous co did nothing wrong. It must be my fault that you can't overnight ship a usable box of Chiles for 3 weeks! That it's because I don't understand your business is my fault. And insulting me by saying " you are not selling widgets" is somehow an apology for not being able to get a box of Chiles delivered on time. Yes it's all my fault. Your CO motto must be " it's all the customers fault if we don't do our job". I don't want a box of free Chiles. In fact I want nothing from you or your co except the promised refund. Let's see if you can do that without blaming me!

Matt, I'm sorry you are dissatisfied with the free chile and refund. Weather delays on UPS's end, and fresh produce being unpredictable is part of this business. Normally, customers understand that. Please order elsewhere. We do a great job for our customers, but sometimes it is best to recognize that there are folks who will never be satisfied and part ways with them.

Ordered "Big JIm" fresh green chile from your store and found it to be extremely mild and without taste, that is, not what I am used to. Therefore, I went to my local H-E-B and bought the same and it had flavor plus just the right amount of heat.

I received my box in excellent condition. I could smell the chile right away and couldn’t wait to get the box inside so I could roast them. It was a few days before I could roast them all and they kept very well for the three days I had to store them before I could roast them all. I’m very satisfied.

the chili i got this year I had more bad chili than the past two years. The last two years, I only had two bad chilis that were rotten. This year I had 25 bad chilis. But, I do know it was hotter this year in New Mexico and my box was seeping a little from the chili that was bad. Overall, the taste of the chili is great. I will order next year and hopefully next year I won't have many bad chilis. Thank you

I was one of the customers that UPS messed up. You sent a second order and it came on time. The quality was outstanding. I shared part of my order with two other families and eveyone was delighted with quality. I think you have at least two new customers in the futhuer.
