Hi Kim, It doesn't look like you ever reached out to our customer service team about this issue. If we aren't notified when a problem arises, we have no opportunity to get it solved for a customer. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience here! I pulled up your order and saw that you ordered one of our 5lb boxes of Fresh Hatch Green Chile. We guarantee all orders for 5lb boxes, so we compensate our customers accordingly when spoilage/damage occurs. How many chiles did you lose to spoilage/damage? Please send us photos of the chile that you received. The photos help us when contacting the shipping carrier. Once we receive those photos, we can move forward with our resolution process. The box was smashed and approx a pound of it was ruined. The dry ice was melted. Other than that I love your chile.

While they are good they are not as hot as I wanted. I thought last year I got the medium heat so this year I went up a notch. Next year I will go up another notch because I obviously got the same as last year. When is the best time to place my order? I ordered early this year when I got an email you were now taking orders.

It’s ridiculous that you can not get whatever flavor you want in the whole chile shipped to you that you want, medium hot is I wanted for my friend and only could get mild might as well sent them BELL PEPPERS

So I bought 10 lbs of hot green chili, It was on the verge of thawed, but I did re-freeze it. I also bought a package of chicken cheese chimichangas. They were mostly thawed. I also re-froze them. My biggest question to you is is that ok to do? Re-freeze them? Other than that, everything was just ok. It just seems it never gets to me totally frozen. I am in Florida and I know that can be a challenge.

Hi Carla! Thank you for your purchase! We suggest that they are safe to re-freeze and eat if they are still cool to the touch! We tell all of our customers that 2-day shipping is the most reliable shipping for getting their items still frozen and dry ice intact. Best, The Hatch Chile Store

This is the 4th or 5th time I have ordered. This last order, I was a little disappointed with the way the chili was packed. There were so many seeds, stems and peeling in the mix. I have never experienced this before. The taste of the chili itself was delicious. I’m hoping this last order was an exception and not the norm going forward. Thank you

The product itself was fabulous. But I placed this order for a shipment to Tennessee. I was advised of the shipping and delivery date. Unfortunately the shipment arrived a day late. This was not a Hatch Chile Store problem. It was a FedEx issue. However since the food was frozen and arrived a day late, the food could not be refrozen. 12 tamales and 12 chile rellenos are a lot to consume in a couple of days by only two people. I would be very hesitant to order perishable product again.

Hi Barbara, It looks like you reached out to our customer service team and were concerned about the delay in transit. One of our team members inquired about the state of the products when they were delivered, but we did not hear back from you. We apologize for the inconvenience. As we try our best to provide exceptional service, some factors like shipping and handling are outside of our control, and issues like this can happen. It looks like your order was packaged for 2 days in transit but was delayed an additional day. Typically orders for frozen products arrived frozen with a small amount of dry ice left in the box. We never recommend our customers eat a product if it arrives warm and spoiled. Please dispose of the product. Our standard procedure here is to reship the order; however, if you would prefer a refund, we can do that as well. Please let us know which option you would prefer. In the future, if there is an issue when your order is delivered, please let us know. If we aren't informed, we do not have the opportunity to correct it :) Thanks, The Hatch Chile Store

I can't tell you the Hatch Chili Store made us happy. EVERYTHING was great except the Chili's. They are stringy, tough, and did not have any flavor! I know there was problems with the westher

I never received the product. I had originally given the wrong address and immediately tried to correct to the correct address. but there was no response even though I tried 3 different ways to correct the address. So, I am disappointed with the way the company reacts to customer contacts. Well, Hatch was good. They replaced my product and the product was quite good. I had originally ordered using an old address and immediately after submitting noticed the error I had tried to contact them 3 different ways but was unable to communicate with them. After some time, someone apparently noticed the communication and reached out to me and replaced the product at no charge. So I must place the company in the good guys catagory.

Great shipping experience. Product got here exceptionally fast for being in Alaska in perfect condition. Quality was good. Nice sized tamales, not dry. However, tamales were very bland and tasteless. Could have used more filling and seasoning. I am a New Mexican native and used to lots of flavor. Expected lots of green and red chile in food from the Hatch Chile Store.

As a 1st time customer I was so looking forward to eating the tamales I ordered, but sadly, we were very disappointed in them. There was very little meat inside them, so we couldn't really taste the pork inside the thick layer of masa.

Hatch Chile Store is great service. My last order of chiles was shipped fast and frozen when I received them. I didn't care for the chopped chiles as well as I like the roasted and peeled whole chiles. I hope that in the near future that they will be able to send the roasted/peeled whole chiles again.

The mask I ordered was black. The one I received is white and pleated. This hides or distorts the design when I wear it.

The product is fine. I will not be ordering again because of your astronomical price for shipping to Alaska! We are a hub for FedEx and UPS and I paid $76 to ship one small box! Wrong!

Hello Cecelia! When it comes to shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, FedEx does charge quite a bit for shipping. Our shipping costs come directly from FedEx themselves. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do when it comes to these costs, and we do apologize for this. We are looking into what we can do to reduce these costs for customers located in these areas.
