“Arrived on time, didn’t appear to be very fresh, about 6 pods were spoiled. Was better last year. Oh well good enough.”

“I was not super happy with my order. I’d say at least 1/2 of my box was not ripe, and of those that were ripe, many were already wrinkling with dull skin. I did have a few that were perfect and delicious. I know it’s a tough thing to time everything perfectly. I was so excited to get my box of chiles—a reminder of home. I will try one more time again next year and hope for a little better.”

“10 lbs of Joe Parker cost me about $58 with shipping. After reading the reviews I decided to order. What I expected was the freshest hatch chili’s you could get. But they weren’t. Although very good, not the freshest. I would order again and give them another chance.”

“The chili’s that were whole were very flavorful and easy to roast and peel. My box had 10 to 15 pods that were broken or too not ripe. Overall it was a good experience. I just feel like the quality should have been better.”

“This is the second year that I have received at least 10 to 15 chilies that are either rotting or spoiled :(. I was really looking forward to a Better experience than last year but I guess not. Thank you anyways for providing and sending my order of Delicious Hatch chili.”

“I rated my experience Acceptable because the Chili peppers are so good. However, the delivery experience was not very good as I paid for overnite shipping and I never received my order and after about 7 or 8 days I had to call and my order had been placed with the wrong distributor and was not sent out. The lady was nice who helped me and reimbursed the shipping fee. Finally received the order over 10 days later.”

“Spent alot of money on chile's and shipping. Just to get poor quality chile's. Wrinkled, shrivled up & some rotten chile's. Wont buy them online again. Recieved my 25lbs box about half full and taped shut. Thank u fed ex. I hope u enjoyed my wrinkled chile's.”

Hi Trish, You are welcome to request that we hold off on shipping you chile till this year's harvest is in if you place another order. That being said, the quality last year was exceptional so I'm not sure why it would make a difference. Best, Preston

“I received an email saying all mild and hot Chile’s were on sale...yes I missed the details, my mistake...however I found that misleading. Also I thought I was pre-ordering fresh Chile’s for August but again that was probably my mistake...usually I place an order in the spring for fresh Chile’s. Not sure what I did wrong, but the frozen Chile’s are fine.”

“Great delivery and customer service, but disappointed with the heat of the chile. I wanted medium heat, but the website said that the heat level was slightly milder than normal, so I ordered medium-hot. While the flavor is still good, the heat level is mild, at best. I am hoping that this is just a one-time anomaly.”

“The only complaint is that our Hot chili peppers were with no heat. I made a chili stew and left the seeds in to be hotter and it was so mild. I could not taste any of the chili pepper. I have ordered from you before and had found them very good. I was worried that the Hot would be too hot. Very surprised to experience no heat from the Hatch chili peppers.”

“I'm sorry I like the can ones better to many seeds and cleaning drying & too hot. I wanted Mild to Med, not med to hot And honestly thought they were coming from Hatch not las cruces. to get will drive there to get cans/cases of them it will be worth 1200 miles”
