“I attended the 3 day course for day, evening and bridal makeup. I can highly recommend this course. My teacher was Charlotte, who was amazing. Taught us so much in the space of three days and the aftercare was brilliant, any questions/queries Charlotte was happy to help. I came back yesterday evening to take my exam and passed. Couldn't recommend this course/school enough. Looking forward to going back for further courses.... this is just the beginning. Thank you Charlotte and everyone else at the school. X”

“Tutors and classes were ok but the exam is a big joke, go for something else, they are not cheaper than others but I doubt the approach is the same.”

Unfortunately, this student was too lazy to hand in her final portfolio work to an acceptable standard, therefore it was rejected by the independent examining body IMA (International Make-up Association)

“I've just finished the 9 Week Evening Class IMA Foundation Course in this school. It's been a really nice experience: the teacher was lovely, she was really careful about everyone of us, we were using high quality products and I had the chance to learn a lot. It's expensive, but it's worth of it. The course itself it's hard and you are requested a lot of practical work and paper work but this is what makes it high level otherwise everyone could be a make-up artist. Great experience and big satisfaction!”

“Very basic for complete beginners, this course is too fast too little time to really learn much at all let alone be confident to apply a clients make up. Therefore the cost is too high to be taught such little skill.”

If it’s “very basic” then how can it be ‘too fast and too little time”? An Evening classes can’t last longer than three hours per session. However, Federica who was in the same class and has commented above gives a positive comment.

“I have just finished the 3 day foundation and bridal course and learnt so much in just 3 days! Our teacher Charlotte was fantastic and went through everything in detail. I've learnt so much about skin and make up and feel like I've come away from the class with a wealth of knowledge. Charlotte's also prepped us all for our exam and been there to answer every question. Amazing School - highly recommended.”

“Without a doubt the best place to train, I met others on the same course who travelled across the world to attend at The London School of Make-up. Since attending, I am working for an International make-up brand as their makeup artist, as well as freelance building my personal portfolio. I can't recommend LSM highly enough.”

“This couse was so professional from the moment I had email confirmation. The teaching staff were amazing and I learnt so much from Nissa, Kerry and Amanda and couldnt have asked for better training. After leaving the course I was well equipped to leave and continue my development and set up as a freelance artist. I would recommend anyone thinking of doing this course.”

“I did my Level 4 in Laser and IPL here and I am so pleased to say that they are very good. If you want a quick qualification you can go somewhere else but if you aim to become a confident and competent therapist, then this is the place to be. Jessie was absolutely amazing supporting us all the way, she made me feel comfortable in asking questions and she proved to be very knowlegible and experienced. They are extremely busy but they always make time for you and I appreciate this a lot.It is so important to have a solid base and makes such a difference the way you come across in front of a client.The most important thing is that when you finish the course you feel READY :) I am so grateful for all the help and genuine support.I highly recommend it!!”

“I have just finished my 4 week IMA foundation and creative course and I have to say it was thoroughly enjoyable. The first two weeks were learning the foundation/basics of makeup from our lovely teacher Charlotte Isaacs who was most helpful and managed to teach us so much in the short space of time, things I never knew I was even capable of. Charlotte prepared us for our exams and was always full of advise and tips to help us start a career as a makeup artist. Thank you so much!!! We then moved on to the two weeks of creative makeup. We worked with some incredible makeup artists, thank you so much to all of them, for sharing your time, knowledge, advice, warmth and generosity with us all. Charlotte Isaacs, Francesco lo Cascio, Bobana Parojcic, Pascal Marin, Gavin Pickle, Maria Papalopolpu and Wai Kan, you have all taught me something I will keep for the rest of my life and I am so grateful for your lessons. The other staff in the school, it's been a real pleasure seeing you every day. Thank you for your friendship and smiles!! If make-up if something you are interested in as a profession I highly recommend this school and the courses they offer. My only regret is not opting for the 8 weeks!! I can always do the remaining four weeks another time.”

“I attended the 3 day foundation course at The London School of Makeup just last week & I had the most amazing time. I've been working in the makeup industry already for 16 months but the course still taught me so much. Such a great product & industry knowledge & Charlotte our tutor was fantastic. Insightful, lovely & couldn't do enough to help us all. I've already looked at booking a further 2 courses & cannot wait to go back! “From April, 27th to May, 8th 2015, I participated in the 2 week foundation certificate course at the London School of Make-up. I may say that the course has not only met my expectations, but exceeded them by far. The whole team was very welcoming, our teacher Charlotte is a true professional and the atmosphere in class was very friendly and supportive. I can highly recommend this course for everyone who is really interested in make-up and willing to put in some effort. I had a great time!”

“This school provides really good courses about Make-up, taught by great teachers and make-up artist coming from everywhere (Italy, France, Japan, etc). The staff in incredible: they are lovely and they help you with every doubt you might have, especially if you are a foreign student. The school gives you the opportunity to do photoshoots and to collaborate in special occasions. I recommend it because it made me become more confident about myself as a Make-up Artist and I learned a lot of new techniques which was very interesting.”
