“Carriage charge of £5.58 for a 13mm diameter cutter no bigger than a washer was exorbitant. Highest charge I have ever paid. I will remember this in future. Only reason for the purchase was for a BCT cutter.”

Thank you for providing your feedback. We appreciate that in isolation this may appear to be a costly shipping charge, however these are the same prices we are charged to provide you with a swift and insured service on goods up to a value of £30. This does includes a small (50p) contribution towards the packaging for the items plus a contribution towards the time of a member of the team to pick, pack and book the item. Our next shipping rate is £7.85 and covers all UK packages up to 30KG. Such is the nature of shipping, the cost has to be covered somewhere, either in the item price or as stand alone charges, since the service does not come for free. I would love to be able to offer free or discounted shipping, though sadly, retail margins do not allow for these to be covered in a sustainable business model... We continually work to identify means to offer best value for customers, whilst also ensuring that should something go wrong with shipping, we can track and resolve this ASAP - this is only possible using premium rate services.

“Made order, delivery was next day. Couriers picked up and text a 1hr window of delivery and were early. Brilliant. Fast and accurate delivery. Second to no one. Well done.”

“No issues with The Tool post themselves however the courier service they use leaves a lot to be desired. In view of the delivery issues experienced I will look at alternative suppliers who do offer next day delivery at little or no additional cost”

There are other services available which we have considered, but none offered the expedited assistance we were looking for when problems do arise. Unfortunately sometimes we do experience issues on delivery, but this is fewer than 4% of all orders. I do however understand that if you are in that small percentage it can be very frustrating, though I hope you appreciate we always do everything we can to resolve these issues with our logistics team quickly and effectively.

“Very prompt service. Live in US and with difference in time frame, I ordered on Tuesday and shipment was delivered on Friday. Purchased the Powercap Active1P and wish I had purchased it years ago. No dust and no fogging of the shield or glasses. If you have a catalog, it would be nice for you to include one when you fill an order. Definitely a vendor I will use in the future.”

Good morning, This is the first we have heard of the issue and have checked the status this morning with the courier. As you can appreciate, however well and quickly we get the goods dispatched from here, the operations of the courier companies are often beyond our control. We understand the delivery was attempted and carded on the 7th and retried again on the 10th. Without knowing the arrangements you have made for the re-delivery yourself (as shown in the tracking details) we can provide little by way of further information at this point. “Bought this for my husband who has now retired and has more time to do woodturning. I searched on line and saw this smock which is ideal and at a good price. The quality of material is excellent, bought a size bigger to enable him to wear something warm underneath. Was also surprised how quickly this was delivered, excellent service.”

“I couldnt reccommend this place enough. Excellent selection, friendly and welcoming when visiting and nothing is too much trouble. The website is a little dated, but dont let that put you off. Everything is personal which i prefer. I ordered some things from them on a tuesday, but i forgot one thing. So i called them tuesday afternoon and they had my order ready for the courier. They just took a card payment and added the thing i forgot to the box. Give them a try, you wont be dissapointed!”

“Absolutely outstanding service. I ordered a turning smock on Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday and I'm in the US. The smock itself is even better than the Toolpost description...very high quality. Will definitely order from these guys again”
