“When I visited the shop Peter Hemsley spent nearly an hour with me going over various options for sharpening, advised me on drive centres for my lathe and gave me advice on abrasives and other tools. I didn't feel 'sold' to, and I'm entirely confident that everything I bought was essential. Peter also put me in touch with a woodturning tutor, has answered my queries by email and generally been incredibly supportive. Customer service top marks!”

“Peter and his staff are always very helpful and will give you advice on your intended purchase. If he feels that the item or items one has choses would not be ideal he give his honest opinion and might suggest that you do not spend your money. It is a company one can trust.”

“Purchase Sorby Chisels. First distributor didn't even reply to my enquiry. Transaction and dispatch fine. DPD sent me an email saying that I had requested the delivery be made a day later (two days after purchase) which I did not.”

“Online ordering was slightly quirky, but seemed to work OK. Excellent tracking of order. Nice touch having 1hr window for delivery. Parcel arrived super quick. The outer packaging of was damaged (hole in polybag) and the box inside was also damaged, pity as I like to keep the original manufacturers box in case I re-sell the item later.”
