“Excellent range of stock at the 7 Hawksworth, Didcot, Oxfordshire. As a result I have ordered more items by mail order and have experienced a fantastic service level. Ordered late in the day received next morning by First Class courier service. You can't better that”

“Peter & team offer a great service in supplying both good advice at competitive prices via the website. I was looking at various sharpening solutions for woodturning tools & opted on the old favourite of an 8" grinder & the wolverine set-up, which has come in far cheaper (<200) than a Tormek T7 with Jigs (approx 600+). Although the T7 is highly rated the replacement cost of wheels (250!) led me to the grinder set-up. No doubt I'll be adding more to the set-up as time goes by! The Record 8" grinder has had mixed reviews so thought it best to purchase from an established business rather than anyone on Amazon too. As the saying goes, "I'll be back!" Thanks.”

“Always a pleasure to deal with Peter Hemsley at The Toolpost. Peter knows and uses the products he sells so can and does speak with authority. He won't push sell you kit you don't need which is refreshing these days, more the opposite. Have a look around the store http://goo.gl/maps/PsjFa it's a real Aladdin's den, a must for wood turners and carvers. Better still go and visit him at Didcot.”

“The reason I eate the experience poor is due to the extortionate postage charge. I bought 2 tiny burrs each weighing approximately 10g. They were sent 1st class in an unnecessary large envelope and the charge was £5.58 incl VAT. I would have bought more burs but for the fact that the postage rate would have almost doubled. Utterly disgaceful. And I shall warn coleagues to steer clear of Toolpost Ltd's mail order service.”

“I could have changed my order at the last minute, I appreciated that. I found some tools that I don't find on the french websites specialised in turning for wood. but the transport price by chronopost is very high and I was not in a hurry . When I made my order I didn't find the choices between different ways of transports like I find in other sites (Amazon , ...) PAH”

“There was a delay in delivery of the grinding wheel as it was out of stock and had to be delivered by the supplier. However, my machine manual contained the wrong size for the spindle diameter resulting in the wrong bore arriving. This was totally my fault for not checking by removing the existing wheel and measuring it. A quick and informative phone call to Toolpost resulted in a replacement set of bushes being posted out and arriving next day. Equipped with the correct fitting and on the grinder, the ruby wheel sharpened my tools quickly and easily to give a lovely smooth cut. Excellent product and very good backup service. Will be happy to use Toolpost again.”
