“I took two accurist watches, one for a new battery, the other for strap repair and mini valet. Excellent service, from first booking in. They were both ready for collection the same day (within an hour). I would definitely recommend and use their services again.”

“I have just recently collected my CAMY automatic / self wind watch from your outlet in York. I had quite an extensive overhaul done I.E. complete re-furbishment, repair, replacement parts, including a new glass, winder etc. extensive work. I was not entirely satisfied with the outcome as I seemed to have to wait a bit longer than quoted with no call, correspondence, E mail , after 15 weeks of silence I phoned to ask when I was to receive my watch back, I was told approx. another 2 weeks making it a total of 17 weeks instead of the 12 I was quoted. It would have been much appreciated if someone had took the time to let me know what was actually going on in the interim instead of me poking around in the dark. Also I was disappointed that the new winder that was fitted is not as the original, a screw down crown, it is now a standard WHY? I would appreciate a return Email /call if possible to the reasons regarding the crown in particular. Many thanks D. Sargeant”

“Noticed your shop while in Chester when visiting from Scotland. I had Tissot T-Touch at home needing a new battery, could they fit one? "Certainly Sir, just post it down, here's our card". So I did and the next day received a phone quoting the cost and approximate time scale, then paid by card. The said period passed and they phoned to say it was ready for collection. However I couldn't collect it as I live in the North of Scotland......no problem we have your address, we'll post it out. It arrived the next day. Excellent, professional service. Many thanks.”

“Whilst I was a bit dismayed that my Raymond Weil watch didn't just need a replacement battery and needed to be serviced, the staff at the Southampton West Quay branch (Andrew, Keri) dealt with this efficiently and with a positive, friendly attitude throughout my various visits. The watch has just been handed back to me within the stated timescale and is now back in working order.”

“My Skagen watch needed a new battery. Having received quotes that ranged from £65 - £39 , I was pleased to find out that The Watch lab would only charge £19. The service was excellent and I was reassured that the watch glass would not break. The customer service was carried out with courteousy, humour and efficiency. Thank you.”

“All staff very pleasant and professional and provided me with the information and repair of my watch a Rotary that needed to be reduced in size and new battery they informed to come back if I needed anything esle and the following day went back to the bauchanan galleries glasgow as the watch strap was stll to bgi and they fixed on the spot. Well done”

“Fantastic service . I have a Tag Watch which needed a new battery and I really didn't want to have to wait up to 3 weeks for the watch to be sent away . The watch lab put in a new battery and reseaed the watch so that it is totally waterproof in 45 mins . I will definitely use this service in the future and I will recommend to all others to do the same . And it was cheaper than quotes I have received from Tag and other jewellers .”

“I needed a new strap for a swatch and a new battery for a fairly expensive watch, the team at the York branch explained about resealing the watch after the battery was fitted and that the work was guaranteed. In addition it was ready and both watches cleaned after 25 minutes. It was done for a reasonable rate.”

“I needed a new battery for my Longines watch. The last time it was replaced it had to be sent back to Longines and took 8 weeks! The Watch lab in York gave me the option of returning the watch to longlines or replacement there and then. I was in a rush that day, but the technician was able to replace the battery within the hour. i was very impressed with the quality of both service and workmanship”

“I took my watch to your place in Highcross Leicester for a new battery and they said it needed a clean also, total cost £60. When I woke the next day the date had not changed. It changed at 12.10pm so I returned it to your place where they said it needed a full service costing £150. I have never had this happen before with a Tissot watch. I have owned this make for 60 years and was disgusted with the way they spoke to me and treated me, not use you again.”

“I found the staff at Watch Lab in York friendly and knowledgeable. They had the equipment available to replace the battery, reseal and clean the casing of my Longines watch on their premises which was wonderful as I didn't have to make a long journey back into the City Centre to collect it at a later date ... they were able to do the work within an hour. I am extremely happy with the service given and will use them again.”
