Did not like how the driver didn't knock on my door and just left the parcel behind the shed it was over an hour till I saw it. He never left a card or phone message was not pleased at all. The box was on its side and all wet. 😡😡😡

So this is a difficult review. I've previously ordered from you for my very discerning dad and he said the seafood was the best he'd ever had from home. We recommend it to so many people and they ordered too! So I ordered again for a father's Day gift. I get to spend very little with my parents and we were on holiday together so I ordered the BBQ pack, Carlingford Oysters and the mixed ciders for his gift. On the day of delivery, I got up early and went and bought all of the accompanying aspects to make sauces, kebabs, marinades etc. Then I received an email to say the parcel was damaged and that I would not be receiving my delivery. I was absolutely gutted! Not only had I spent an extra load of money of things to go with the order that were now pointless, I had no gift for my dad. I understood that this is DPD's issue and that is why I find the review hard. However I was told on the phone from an employee that they didn't really like DPD as they weren't very good. I was offered for the delivery to be made the following week, but it wasn't possible, we were in holiday when it should have arrived. I only see my parents for a few weekends a year and I would be working the following weekend. I felt really patronised by the lady that was talking to be she kept saying 'awww, I'm sorry" , but didn't really seem sorry at all. I chose to get a full refund. I then got an email to say that I would be given £15 as a goodwill gesture, this was very kind, however I can easily save £15 on an order using the voucher codes emailed to me All in all, the product from here is great, the delivery service used isn't and the customer service definitely needs work on. Will I be back to shop again? Who knows? At the moment no. I was so let down over something special that we had looked forward to.

13 of the 36 oysters were open. I was refunded for 12 oysters but of course, the experience had been ruined. Won’t use this company again

Quality of food and service is excellent. In my previous order I had been sent raw langoustines instead of cooked crevettes. However, a replacement order was sent at the next possible opportunity and as the crevettes were to satisfy a hankering I had rather than for a specific dinner party it wasn’t too great an issue. The quality of all the seafood I have ordered has always been superb and the response to a one-off error on their part was also excellent.

Ordered the carabineiros prawns for the weekend for delivery Friday morning to receive an email late on Thursday to say you we’re out of stock…..you would have known earlier in the day that they weren’t available, so not impressed atall.

Our supplier let us down at the very last minute as a result of weather conditions and shortages, and we informed you, the day before your scheduled delivery, at 3.00 pm, once we realised there was nothing else we could do to fulfill your order, but I can ensure you that we tried our best. Clams received on the 10th had a tag saying they had been packed on the 1st! Half of them were dead. Not happy customer.

It was a DPD delivery - the first time we had not been serviced by a Wright Brothers van - we thought the amount of packing to compensate for a non refrigerated vehicle was over the top and it would put us off from making further orders. There was a lot of cardboard etc to recycle.

Delivery always excellent, to within a minute of the estimated time usually! Fish superb. Restaurant quality without a doubt. Very fresh. Smoked products out of this world!

Great service and food at Christmas . But this last order got damaged in transit so never arrived. They did contact me the day before delivery to explain. So come on Wright Bros. think you owe me a discount on my next order.

Lovely quality seafood generally, but this time the delivery didn’t arrive. Third time in a row that there was a big problem with the delivery.. Sadly not going to use again.

We have now ordered from Wright Brothers four times - customer service is excellent, produce is superb. Fantastic to be able to have such luxury at home! Grilled Lobsters with garlic butter, Oysters, Moules Frites, Plaice fillets pan fried in butter, and our most recent find - delicious smoked swordfish.
