“It was my first visit to the Zip Yard and I was delighted with the service. From suggesting that I tried my dress on with the correct shoes so they could check my own measurements (which were of course wrong!) through to the notification that it was completed a day before the agreed date, the service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely use for any future alterations.”

“The quality of the work was good, but i had to wait 2 months for a new zip to be ordered and my coat to be repaired, not happy with that, apparently it had to be hand made in china then shipped, it was only a two way zip for a coat.”

Hi Denise, thank you for your comments. We keep a wide range of zips on site however certain zips we don't range and need to be ordered. Apologies again the for inconvenience caused.

“My Zip slider was repared promotly and at reasonable price. Im just a bit disappointed that the black slider was replaced with one of bronze finish. Thankyou.”

“Zipyard is without doubt the best alteration company I have ever used. I have taken quite a few garments to them and they always come back superb and beautifully finished. Their attention to detail is impressive and all their seamstresses are very professional. On top of that, the entire team are always in a great mood and you are always greeted with a cheery smile from Marvin. A lot of businesses could learn from Zipyard. 10/10 from me !!! “Absolutely disgraceful attitude, not fixed the problem, offered no type of refund or resolve and ending up paying more for alterations then the cost of the dress. So upset as this place was recommended and under no circumstance will I go back there again.”

Devina, a resolution has been offered for you to come back in with the dress for our seamstress Laura to take a look and fix it for you. If you won't bring the dress in for Laura to look at it then the problem won't be fixed. Thank you

Hi Barry, I am sorry to hear you were not happy with the work carry out. We always ask customers to try on their garments in our changing rooms before leaving to ensure they are happy with the work carried out. Please return with your trousers at your earliest convince before (11.05.2016) where we will of course be happy to rectify your trousers at no extra cost.

“The Zip Yard carried out a beautiful invisible repair on a sheer curtain...I had to send to Indonesia for the fabric for the repair and it s not possible to see where the damage was. I can't praise them too highly. As well as being good at what they do they are really nice people which counts for a lot these days!”
