We don’t think you need fabric softener with Dirt, although there’s absolutely nothing to worry about if that’s your preference.
The reason we don’t love fabric softener is because it's not great for you, or the environment. It is full of quite harsh chemicals that create a film on your clothes (making them less absorbent), your skin (which can irritate it) and your machine (which can lead to mechanical problems).

“Pretty sure we've been using Dirt for almost a year. Only just ordered for the second time because it lasts so long (which we love). There were brief growing pains when we initially purchased as I figured out that a lower dosage than was recommended suited our washing machine, but it's been great since then. Great at removing odours from our clothing, bar polyester work shirts - I spray the stain remover under the arms before washing & that works a treat. Definitely recommend.”
