“Ordered on the 27th March, an earliest delivery date of 1st May was advised, AFTER paying £6.99 for "premium delivery" !? Cant review the produce yet !!”

“I did not purchase anything due to the very long delivery date and the fact that the choice of meat in packs was very limited i set up an account and added what i wanted to find delivery was over 4 weeks away”

“I ordered what I believed to be fresh whole duck from the Meat Man website. The photo showed a fresh duck. No mention of it being frozen. On special offer at £9.95 each so I bought four. What I received were pre-frozen ducks of foreign origin (frozen 9 months ago). The packaging was split, exposing the contents to contamination. A low quality product I could have bought for much less at Lidl.”

“Avoid. 'Lean' mince of very poor quality. Lots of liquid in the pan when Browning off mince. Also hard bits of grissle within meat. Returned to vendor who gave a full refund. The rating is for the quality of the product i received. The customer service was very good.”

“Hi, I ordered some meat from you for the festive season. I'd like to complain about the two tomahawk steaks. We cooked them for a special family meal and they were awful. The meat was tough and contained large blobs of yellow fat and sinew. I was not happy with the purchase. About 50% of the meat was inedible and ended up in the bin! Previously when I purchases tomahawks from you they were lovely but the quality of these was not the same. I look forward to your response regarding this. I reported this directly to The Meat Man and have not heard anything back. Kind Regards,”

“Ordered a 1KG Fillet of Beef at the end of the October to freeze and make a Wellington on Christmas day. Defrosted it on Christmas Eve to prepare the Wellington only to find the whole thing was run through fat. Tried to cut a lot of it away and ended up removing/disposing of a lot of fat. Ended up with two pieces of meat instead of the one we wanted to use to make the Wellington. Upon cooking, it was very chewy and very fatty, not lean and tender (like a fillet is supposed to be). That being said, I am not wholly convinced the piece of meat was all fillet or tenderloin, and I think it might have been a bit of fillet with a lot of sirloin or short loin attached. All in all, this was the worst piece of fillet I have ever purchased - and it ruined Christmas dinner. Hugely disappointed – will not be ordering from here again.”
