Thanks for choosing Nerivio, Lisa! Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. It’s important to begin acute treatment as early as possible (preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine) or complete prevention treatments regularly, set an intensity that is strong but comfortable, and complete the full 45-minute treatment. Nerivio Cares customer support (support@nerivio.com / 866-637-4846) is also available to help you get the most effective treatment with your device.

If you have treated with Nerivio and have not experienced relief/freedom, or the migraine has returned, you may administer additional treatments on the same day. “I have had constant headaches for over 15 years due to TBI from being near numerous explosions while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Have not found the cure after Botox, numerous medications and a monthly shot. Nerivio doesn't stop the headaches but it does make them manageable. Very pleased with the product.”

“Using the device has been a very good experience all in all. The acute care companion (I think that’s what it’s called) has canned music that comes to the fore at the end that’s too percussive and repetitive to be relaxing, but the other audio tracks are fine. One thing that has been an unpleasant surprise and an unfortunate development is that the patient can no longer obtain refills on one’s existing Nerivio device up till its expiration date by pressing the refill button. We now have to purchase an entire new device, arm band and all, at full price, each time the 18 treatments have been used. This causes distress for the patient who has limited funds and moreover makes no business or economic sense. It also causes environmental waste. Sending the old device to be “recycled” is of little or no consequence. I hope that we can get back to using our devices until their given expiration dates. Mine is to expire a year from now (9/19/24), yet I’ve only four more sessions I can now use. It will now be rendered useless once I’ve used them up.”

Hey, Julie! We're glad you've found relief with Nerivio. During a treatment, Nerivio stimulates nerves in the upper arm through remote electrical neuromodulation (REN). The nerves carry messages to the brain to activate a pain-management response to naturally turn off migraine pain without the need of any medications.

“I'm shocked, this product actually works on myself. I take it with me if I go out to run errands, when I'm working outside so when migraines symptoms start I apply nerivio rest and continue with my day.”

However, it is not recommended that you drive, cycle or operate any heavy machinery will using Nerivio. Exposure to water, such as swimming or taking a shower, should also be avoided. “It’s helped me so much! Not only does it help my migraine, but after doing the treatment, I also feel calm and relaxed And calling the pharmacy to get a refill was super quick after I got off the phone with them. They were already shipping out my refill :) customer service was also excellent. The gentleman was very friendly and try to help me out.”

“A game changer! My migraines have reduced my more than 50% per month! I use it as a preventative and when needed for acute attacks. About 70% of the time when used as an acute treatment, it greatly reduces the pain or even eliminates the pain altogether, as Ling as I catch it early! It works great alone but even better with my rescue meds! I highly recommend it. The only downfall is the cost. My insurance doesn't cover it so I pay out of pocket. The 3 months for $199 is helpful but it is still costly out of pocket. It is worth it though. I miss less work and activities and I don't get that medicine head feeling that some of my medications give me! I am so glad my doctor prescribed it! If you are a wits end with your migraines, give it a try. Even a 50 % reduction is way better than none!”

“Nerivio has helped me to manage my migraine by keeping the pain under control. Sometimes it eliminates the pain completely and other times it just stabilizes the pain. Which is good because the pain is more tolerable at a pain level of 2 versus 10.”
