Hey Gopal! I've checked with our medical affairs team and have an answer for you. Nerivio leads to pain relief in 2 out of 3 people with migraine (67%) and to pain freedom in more than 1 out of 3 (39%). But, every individual experiences migraine differently, and as with any migraine treatments, not everyone benefits from Nerivio. In such cases, the migraine attack itself may continue and even worsen with time, which is the natural progress of untreated migraine attacks. In other words, the worsening of an attack may result from the patient being not responsive to the treatment, not from the treatment itself. It may take some time to become accustomed to using the device and app and determine the optimal intensity level for you. I can connect you with our Nerivio Cares support team. “I have used it several times so far and experienced no relief of my headaches. I am unsure of how it is supposed to work, but I continue to have them. It is fun to use the device, but it does not seem to help me so far.”

“Effective but very pricey , should be more treatments available for the cost & should be available at a discounted price like the other migraine meds & the refill app doesn’t work !!! Went without a refill because it was never sent !”

“I wish I would’ve dug deeper into the cost of refills, which isn’t advertised, most insurance companies do not cover it, and the cost for refills isn’t something I can afford, (89$ per refill). I bought this out of pocket hoping it’s a cheaper alternative than all the migraine meds I have taken. It’s kinda frustrating and I wish I could return mine”

“Has not helped at all. I've used Nerivio 3 times. Twice it made the migraine worse and once it did nothing. All 3 times it made my arm very sore. I had to take my usual prescription meds all 3 times. I'm very disappointed in Nerivio.”

“Not exactly what any migraine patient wants to be doing at 3:30 in the morning. Fighting to pair a device meant to help my migraines for over an hour isn't helpful in any way shape or form. I've updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, unpaired my device, turned my Bluetooth on and off, restarted my phone, absolutely nothing will make this dang thing pair and work. If patients can't even get this to pair and work, what's the point of even paying to have it?!”

“After trying this for 2 months it induce more of a migraine. We are stopping this treatment, it makes the issue worse, plus we have no insurance to cover this.”

“The device stayed on but I was unable to increase the settings. I had a message on my phone saying device not connected but it was on. It did run for the 45 mins but I was unable to increase the treatment level. I feel like it was wasted because I was unable to increase level of stimulation.”

“It does not stick to my skin no many how many tricks and trades I try. I tried putting water on my skin I've tried doing everything possible to get it to stick. I called the pharmacy it came from and they said they are not allowed to take returns and they directed me in the manufacturer. They gave me the number of the manufacturer I called it twice and both timings it ran for rain for 5 minutes with nobody answering. I have disputed the charge and will also be reporting the Better Business Bureau”

“I have intractable migraines, so I am never without headache pain. My doctor told me to try this and hoped it would have some effect. It would be nice if you had a setting for those of us that are intractable so we stop getting chided by the app that we are doing it wrong bc we start the treatment too late. We are not stupid, we can read, and I read all of your studies and know that you only worked with people that had migraines that can be reduced or actually have migraine free times. I do not have any abortive medication that works, I do not have any preventive medication. that works, but I am trying this to see if it makes any effect whatsoever and I get really tired of the app yelling at me that I’m not doing it right.”

“Ineffective. I usually wake up with one, so I hope I'm in the 1st 60 minutes. Using other meds at the same time will deplete my resources and leave me without meds.”

Thank you for sharing your experience. Nerivio can be used to treat your migraines at any time. Our clinical data, however, show that Nerivio is more effective when used right when the symptoms start, therefore it is recommended to start treatments with Nerivio within 60 minutes of migraine headache or aura onset. Nerivio can also be used for additional treatment sessions if the migraine headache is not relieved or if it reoccurs. Please consult with your doctor for further instructions on use.
