Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. This will allow you to get accustomed to using the device and app, set the intensity level to an optimal level, and experience the in-app Guided Imagery, Education and Relaxation (GIER) feature during treatment sessions. I’ve done 3 treatments in 6 days, Nerivio has changed my life. I can function where usually I would be man down at least 2 days post migraine. I did not have to take my usual medication, huge improvement on Nerivio. My pain is tolerable.

Glad to hear it, Inderjit! Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. For migraine prevention, our clinical trial shows that after 2 weeks of treating with Nerivio every other day, you can already benefit from a reduction in attack frequency. To experience a larger reduction in attack frequency, we recommend treating every other day for 8 weeks, which was shown to lead to a mean reduction of 4 migraine days per month.

Completely shocked that this works, but it seems to manage my headaches so strange I would recommend this product to anyone!! Helps…works!

Amazing! Best 45mins of my day with the guided visualisation video on as well. The clinical evidence for the device is sound, and I feel that that imagery session really adds to the effect. But sadly is too expensive on self-pay UK prices. I have done 4 treatments, every other day, so far to get the preventive effect. I have daily migraine and would love to use it for each migraine. I doubt I will be able to afford another device for months, so will likely have to use it to cover my annual treatment gap (local NHS requires annual washout of CGRP injections). But it is keeping this bearable this year, which is huge.

I'm using it every other day for prevention and it has really made a difference. Im getting fewer headaches and when I do seem to start one it very often just goes away with no intervention.

After 3 sittings my brain started paining severely. I could feel pain on touching my skull. I would not recommend this product. Doesn't seem to be safe product.

Would love more if it was covered under my insurance because I don’t like taking medication and it does help me with my migraines. Although I can’t use it all the time due to cost

We are a small company that is committed to making Nerivio affordable and are working hard to expand insurance coverage so patients can have access to drug-free migraine treatment. In the instances where it is not covered, the Nerivio Savings Program will assist eligible and insured patients with the cost of Nerivio. ➡️ With the Nerivio Savings Program, patients with any active insurance who provide the specialty pharmacy with permission to complete a benefits verification and any necessary prior authorizations will pay $49 for their first 18-treatment device and $89 for any refills. In addition, the Nerivio Savings Program now offers three Nerivio devices for $199. This brings the cost down to $66/device. Nerivio is also eligible for reimbursement through flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and healthcare savings accounts (HSAs).

It helps, the app doesn’t stay open so I have to fund it and navigate which is a pain with aura. Now I’m trying it for prevention, hope it helps!

Nerivio has helped me so much! It's amazing how this little device has changed my life when it comes to migraine headaches! I hate to take prescription medication because of the potential side effects, but the pain would get so bad that I would. Sometimes the medicine wouldn't help so I'd have to go to the emergency room and have to be there for hours and the migraine cocktail they gave me would make me so tired that the rest of my day would be ruined. I don't have to worry about any of that with Nerivio! I take an over the counter headache medicine, then put on the device and all it takes is about 45 minutes and I'm headache free! I would've given 5 stars, but my only complaint is the $80 copay, which to many people is nothing, but is a lot to me

I have only used it 3 times, so I can't yet speak to it's efficacy, but I've already developed several concerns. On the 3rd use the sticky is already gone and it doesn't hold long enough for me to get the armband on- it keeps falling off. I'm increasingly concerned with the location requirement. They claim it's necessary so they can get date and time and diary feed info. Basically this means if I'm outside of cell range and don't have access to wifi (which is fairly common, especially when the power is out since I live in a cellular dead zone), that nerivio is denying me treatment. There should be a way to use the device then upload the info when a cell signal is once again available. I find this location requirement to be incredibly creepy and very 1984 Orwellian. I have told nerivio my concerns around this and I'm waiting for a response. Adjusting the intensity can be very time consuming. After a few minutes into treatment, the app "disconnects" from the device, tho the device is still delivering treatment. What this means is I have to open the app, give it permission to access my location yet AGAIN, it logs onto the device, and only then can I adjust the intensity. This could be avoided if they let you increase or decrease intensity directly on the device itself. This also wouldn't be such an issue if the intensity didn't feel like it changed so much on its own throughout treatment. Without me changing it, the intensity varies between barely feeling it at all and full discomfort. Because of the amount of time it takes to get the app to log back into the device so I can adjust it, it will likely soon drive me to just removing the device mid treatment. I have asked the bot several questions, which it has been unable to answer. On the plus side, it looks like a real human being monitors these, so concerns eventually (hopefully) get addressed. If I am able to edit my review, I will update it after I see how my concerns are dealt with.

I’m so so thankful for nerivio! I take significantly less PRN medicine since I’ve been using it. If I feel a migraine coming and I use my nerivio, about 50% of the time I don’t have to take medicine. I have no side effects except the slight discomfort while using it.

Charity, we are so happy to hear you have found relief with Nerivio! It’s important to begin treatment as early as possible (preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine), set an intensity that is strong but comfortable, and complete the full 45-minute treatment. Set the treatment intensity to a level that feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. If the sensation is uncomfortable or painful, you should decrease the intensity by 1 or 2% or until strong but comfortable. It's useless for chronic migraine conditions. Don't waste your money. I lost 14k which is monthly income here for any middle class family in India. It's all business for doctors and nerivio company. Sales team forces you to take this device and promise 50% refund if it didn't worked. When you ask them to refund as promised they make excuses. So this is only business they don't care for patients at all.
