I close my eyes and concentrate on the device and I feel numb.

During a treatment with Nerivio, you may experience numbness or pain in the arm, which should disappear shortly after the end of the treatment. If you experience hand numbness, try decreasing the intensity slightly, as it may be too high, or changing the location of the electrodes on the arm. I really like using Nerivio because I don’t like to use medication and the device allows me to alleviate pain in my neck and my migraines. I also suffer from endometriosis and I feel like the device directs pain away from my abdominal area whenever I use it. I would really recommend and like to use this device often, but I feel like I’m being price gouged and can’t afford to buy it for 18 uses and then toss it. It’s sooo wasteful and terrible FOR THE ENTIRE PLANET!!! It should have an infinite amount of uses!!!!

Hi, Sara. We’re glad you have found migraine relief with Nerivio, but please keep in mind that Nerivio has not been evaluated in patients with endometriosis. We’d also like to share several reasons why the Nerivio device is not rechargeable at this time, which is primarily due to battery capacity and cost. Theranica Bio-Electronics, the creator of Nerivio, put a great deal of thought and consideration into designing the Nerivio device to make it accessible, user-friendly, and discreet. The Nerivio disposable design assures that the patient doesn’t need to remember to keep the battery charged or replace the electrodes while being able to treat just about anywhere. When the treatments are used up, we offer a recycling program to help you dispose of the device. Please email support@nerivio.com (subject line: “Recycling request”) to request a prepaid envelope to recycle your devices (up to 4 devices fit into one prepaid envelope).

It never took my headache fully away but definitely moot more manageable. Unfortunately, with the cost of refills I will not be able to use it going forward.

It’s too soon to tell. So far it’s been a pretty good experience. I like the guided meditation that goes along with it.

It took a while, but after six weeks of regular use, every other day and sometimes more often, I’ve stopped vomiting and my attacks are nowhere near the intensity of what they used to be. So relieved to have found nerivio

If you have treated with Nerivio and have not experienced relief/freedom, or the migraine has returned, you may administer additional treatments on the same day. We recommend you switch arms between treatments. We also recommended that you consult with your healthcare provider about the therapy strategy most suitable for you.

I am so surprised yet happy that this is working for me. Unfortunately, I work and can’t do the Nerivio when my headaches start, but doing it every other day or when I get home has helped.

If you are treating a migraine attack, it is best to begin treatment as early as possible, preferably within 60 minutes of the start of your migraine. The Nerivio device addition to my current migraine management has provided a decrease in the level of intensity. I have been pleased also with the ability to retreat same day if needed.

The device works well for my migraines. The only downside is that there is no way to use the device without my phone. I get light sensitivity, and having to use the phone to set up the device and increase/decrease the intensity is really painful.

We are happy you find relief with Nerivio, Ada, and appreciate your feedback. At the start of treatment, you should set the treatment intensity level by increasing it to a level that feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. If the sensation is uncomfortable or painful, you should decrease the intensity by 1 or 2% or until strong but comfortable. During treatment, you might feel that the intensity has become less intense. This does not mean that it has stopped working, it simply means your body has slightly adjusted to it. There is no need to readjust the intensity at these times. If you need any assistance or have questions, we are here to help. Hi Cheryl. Thanks for letting us know. Based on our clinical studies and feedback from users, we recommend using Nerivio about 4-5 times to evaluate its efficacy for aborting your migraine attacks. For migraine prevention, our clinical trial shows that after 2 weeks of treating with Nerivio every other day, you can already benefit from a reduction in attack frequency. To experience a larger reduction in attack frequency, we recommend treating every other day for 8 weeks, which was shown to lead to a mean reduction of 4 migraine days per month.
