“The entire experience was lovely. I spoke to Richard who was extremely helpful throughout. I ordered a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle and couldn't be happier. They started processing the shipping as soon as I placed the order and had I tracking number that night. The bottle showed up my house two days later in perfect condition. The packaging couldn't have been better; it had so many layers of cushioning that I would be shocked if flat out dropping it would even cause a problem. They even took great care to reinforce the cork with an easy-to-remove plastic saran(?), which I assume is to protect it from popping out due to thermal expansion (could be wrong). Overall I am extremely happy and will use The Rare Whiskey Shop for all my hard-to-find orders.”
