“I'm beyond pleased! The products are amazing quality. I have been able to do my own highlights and root melt, saving me around $300!! I used dark Ash blonde in the roots and lightest ash blonde through as highlights. The condition of my hair is so soft, and it was so easy with their step by step instructions, I'm never going to a hairdresser again! I have had a few people compliment my hair and ask where I get it done!!”

“I haven't yet used the colour as I'm not due to do this for another 3 weeks. But I do want to say just how fabulous the service has been to date. I have had a few queries as I am a first time The Shade user and each time my queries were answered promptly. Camilla has been very helpful in suggesting a duo colour which I can't wait to try and Marco has also been really helpful with my questions. Shipping to NZ only took a week. I can't wait to try the colour and will hopefully be able to comment on this then. Awesome company to deal with.”

“I love the ease of 'The Shade. It just arrives without me needing to think about it, and when I have that moment of free time, between kids, husband, job and housework, I reach to the cupboard and violia ... it's there! I love the colour I chose, and it works well with (what used to be) my natural colour, and it covers those grey hairs perfectly. It's easy to use, and it makes my hair feel healthy afterwards.”

What I love about this product (Veneto 901 Lightest Ash Blonde as recommended by Camilla) is that it doesn't have that strong ammonia smell and the shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling and smelling great after it was all washed off. Hi Danielle, Lack of grey coverage usually occurs with porous hair, when the hair cuticles don't open to allow the colour to penetrate. If you wanted to boost grey coverage, then I would suggest that you add some heat to your roots for 2-5 minutes with your hairdryer while the colour is processing, which will help soften and lift the cuticle on your greys, which helps the colour enter to be deposited within the hair too. Pop a shower cap on your head after you have added some heat during the colouring process too, as this will help retain heat and soften and lift the cuticles of the hair which will then allow the colour pigments to enter to be permanently deposited within the hair. The above approach has been effective on even the most stubborn greys, and I am confident that it will work for you as well.
