“Best home colouring kit have used in a long time. Colour exactly as chosen. Covers the greys perfectly. Still vibrant 3 weeks on. Definetly recommend. Best of all. The initial smell doesn't burn the nose :)”

“Worst experience ever - don’t do it!! Had a consult first and was recommended two colours that would suit me based on my natural colour. They colorist advised a bleach wash first to get some warmth out and apply the toner after. The bleach wash was incredibly aggressive and my hair turned yellow/orange. I followed the instructions to the letter. The toner afterwards did not help much. I ended up paying $400 at a hairdresser to get it fixed. I’m sure this service works great for darker colours or a root fix up but not for blonde. If in doubt - DONT DO IT!”

Hi Lotte, Sorry that you weren't happy with your colour result. You already had colour in your hair and you wanted to go two levels lighter, and given that colour cannot lighten colour, the only way to lighten coloured hair is with a lightening process. We did advise that the bleaching process does reveal natural warmth, which is a natural effect of lightening (as all hair has warmth within it which is revealed during lightening). Some people need to extend the bleach time or repeat the process to remove all the warmth in their hair (which we mentioned in the advice we provided). We also advised that the lightening process will dry your hair a bit and that it is very important to do deep conditioning treatments before and after any lightening process, so it would have been helpful if you had done some treatments as they would have restored moisture and condition to your hair. “Love my subscription, the easy to use kit, all the extra info and tips on the website (take the time to read I’ve learnt heaps of tips, like using foil on stubborn greys etc). Colour is great and results better than box colour from supermarket (smells so much less toxic too). Colour remover wipes and barrier oil is very helpful. I would love to be able to have my subscription timed for every 3 weeks rather than 4, which is my only feedback for improvement.”

“Wonderful product, great quality and great results. My small bit of feedback is that I wasted so much of the dye and lightening. It would be great if you had instructions or smaller packs for those that only need 6 to 12 foils rather than half a head and the same goes for the dye. It would be good if you had instructions on how to ration and store after opened. Also, none of my boxes came with barrier oil or remover and there were no notes to explain why. I am hoping I get some sent as I ordered about 6 months worth of product all without this.”
