“Good prices and service. I ordered a 410 litre tank but later decided to change it to two 250 litre tanks. Delivery was quick (direct from the manufacturer). The Tank Shop processed the return after a few questions (note that there is a full refund for private customers under distance selling regulations but a restocking charge for commercial customers). Only quibble is with logistics. There was no process for exchanging tanks so the collection of the first tank and delivery of the second two were arranged separately and I paid for both. However these ended up being subcontracted to the same pallet firm on the same day which seemed pretty inefficient. So I got the driver delivering the replacement tanks to take away the old tank, saving everyone time and someone else a bit of money!”

“The website was easy to navigate and offered a good variety of makes, shapes and sizes. The prices for Enduramaxx tanks were competitive. Placing an order was straightforward but I was surprised to be charged an additional amount for 'tail-lift delivery' after already paying a significant amount for delivery - which I would have expected to be inclusive of unloading the item at the customer's address. Delivery was prompt - a day earlier than I had expected, but that suited me.”

Thank you for your 4 star rating. We are glad to hear that our "The Tank Shop" website was easy to navigate and offered you a good variety of makes, shapes and sizes. The reason for charging additional delivery fees for tail-lift delivery is because the vast majority of our customers can offload the tank themselves and so keeping the cost down the majority is of benefit all round. We charge a small additional charge of £12 for a tail lift (on those tanks that are within the size limits suitable). We are happy that we could provide you with prompt delivery.

“ordered an oil tank from the tank shop and waited until approaching the third week for delivery, stated 2 to 3 weeks, contacted the office by phone and i was dealt with in a very friendly and helpful manner. the tank duly arrived within a couple of days after receiving a confirmation delivery email. delivered by cartwright bros, a local pallet delivery firm. the driver was pleasant and helpful. i would have no problem in recommending the tank shop to anyone.”

Hi Duncan. As per my email it does appear that the courier has misdelivered your order (the order was signed for on 15/9/23). The courier is attempting to collect and redeliver to you. If they are unable to do this we will despatch a replacement on Monday. Many thanks for your patince.
