"I have been trying to get a refund on a train ticket I cancelled before departure back on Wednesday 6th April 2022 (booking ref: 542581515021). It is stuck in \"processing\" for over two years, and yet when I try to contact customer service through their official means, it does not recognise the reference number. This is not the first problem I have had with them, nor the most egregious. I am convinced the only thing this company delivers is dissatisfaction, because that has been its most reliably delivered product."

"Good day,\r\n\r\n\r\nThis is to create an complaint for the train ticket that i have purchased yesterday 02.07.2024 on the app Trainline. \r\n\r\nTicket PNR reference\r\n\r\n \r\nBDHNFXX\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\nThe train was supposed to take me to Zaventem Airport where i have booked a flight with Emirates. - Attached Flight\r\n\r\nWhen i arrived in the train station the train was canceled - Attached Picture\r\n\r\n\r\nI had to find a solution fast to arrive if not i would lose my emirates flight.\r\n\r\n\r\nThere was no bus available, train or another choice but to hire a Private Transport, for me to arrive in time for my flight.\r\n\r\nI lost 450 euro on this , i am asking to be fully reimbursed + Reimbursement on my train ticket 33.75 euro which never took place. - Attached invoice\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOn Trainline i should have not be allowed to book a train which is not operational.\r\n\r\nI got no announce, that the train was canceled.\r\n\r\nNo msg, no notification to find other solutions in time.\r\n\r\nIt was either this or loosing my trip to Dubai.\r\n\r\n\r\nPlease proceed with the reimbursement!\r\n\r\nThank you!"

"I bought a ticket (\u00a3103.90) to go from London Euston to Liverpool Lime on 23rd February and returning 25th February. I did not use the outgoing ticket Liverpool Lime Street. On the return to London Euston the train was cancelled. So I tried for a refund, which I am entitled to.The trainline app says contact them using RR1. There is no telephone number or email to contact them. Very poor and unprofessional. According to the reviews other customers have had the same issue. I would not recommend trainline app. If you are going to use the trainline make sure travel journey is than less \u00a320. I will await the reply from Trainline."

"Decent app but when it comes to refunds it gets dodgy. They\u2019ve cancelled my train after 2 minutes I bought my ticket. Ticket was \u00a312 they\u2019ve redounded \u00a33 and kept \u00a39 for admin fee. Ridiculous"

"I bought a ticket before to London and couldn\u2019t go. The ticket cost \u00a315 so I requested a refund. They charged \u00a310 admin!! Total rip off! More recently I bought a return ticket from my location to Gatwick Airport my trip was for 4 days returning minutes after my flight landed. Only to find out that there was a train strike. So I had to find alternative transport. I have just tried to get a fee free refund on the app and have seen once again will be charged the admin fee for a ticket that should be fully refunded as there was no service and it wasn\u2019t my fault! I will be deleting this app after the small change refund has been issued. Better to just do business with the train companies you travel on they will refund you 100% of your money in cases of any disruption!! There\u2019s also link after link that you tap on to find out how to get a refund for a cancelled train and there\u2019s absolutely no answer. You just go around in circles tapping the links . Useless!"
