“The trip was good, and our driver helped and guided us well. Our hotel stays in Kandy (City) and Colombo (Berjaya) were good and pleasant. At the Queensberg Hotel in Nuwara Eliya, the rooms, hospitality, and staff were good, but the location, below-average food, and lack of basic facilities like hot water were poor. Even though traffic consumed a lot of time, we visited all our planned spots. Overall, the trip was very pleasant and happy. Thanks!”

“This was my first international solo trip, and although I was very nervous at first, it turned out to be a truly different and memorable experience! My guides, Kinley and Yeshi, were very kind, helpful, and cooperative. My co-travellers were also very interesting, which made the journey even more enjoyable. Everything went smoothly, and all the attractions were covered as per the itinerary. The hotels in Phuentsholing and Thimphu were very good, with proper hot water facilities. However, I wasn’t particularly happy with the hotel in Paro. The people of Bhutan are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Overall, I had a wonderful trip and a very good experience with Thrillophilia. It was a great way to step out of my comfort zone and experience my first international solo adventure!”

“We had a fantastic trip of Meghalaya. All places planned in the itinerary were beautiful and captivating. Vehicle condition, support staff, hotel and home stays were well maintained. Thanks Thrillophilia team for such amazing trip booking. Only one improvement area is to optimize itinerary as we missed Krangsuri waterfall due to this. Having 5 hours journey to Dawki river from Cherapunji and 4 hours journey back to hotel was quite tiring. One day hotel can be planned at Dawki itself. Coming backwards to Krangsuri waterfall was not possible from Shillong. Overall it was good experience.”

“I planned a one-week trip from Srinagar to Leh Ladakh, and overall, it was a very good experience. Except for a few minor issues with the vehicle breakdown, everything was well managed. The room arrangements were excellent and perfectly planned, and the local staff were very supportive throughout the trip. I sincerely appreciate Vivek and Ruchika for their excellent planning, coordination, and execution, which ensured a smooth and memorable trip with minimal hassles. “Our group trip to Kenya with Thrillophilia was superb. We got to see plenty of wild life from close quarters and unforgettable game sightings with lions feeding on their kill and hyenas and vultures waiting for the leftovers . Thanks to our tour guide who was very experienced and spotted all the animals for us to admire. “I had an amazing trip to Kerala with my family! The entire trip was wonderfully organized by Devendar Kirtani, my travel agent from Thrillophilia. He managed everything very well, from booking good hotels to planning a feasible itinerary that we could comfortably cover and enjoy without any issues. Our driver was also very good and could speak Hindi, which made us feel comfortable throughout the journey. He also suggested some great vegetarian restaurants, which made our trip even better. “A Beautiful Spiritual Journey, but Hotel Management Needs Serious Improvement | Thrillophilia – Simpy Singh Team We recently completed a 10-day trip covering Kedarnath, Badrinath, Ayodhya, and Varanasi, organised by the Thrillophilia Simpy Singh team. I travelled with my husband and parents, making this journey even more special as we explored these sacred destinations together and celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Kedarnath. Overall, the trip gave us beautiful memories, incredible Himalayan views, and unforgettable spiritual experiences. However, there were some significant issues with coordination, communication, and especially hotel arrangements that affected our overall experience. Highlights of the trip Kedarnath – The most memorable experience of our journey Kedarnath was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. Witnessing the breathtaking Himalayan landscape and experiencing the divine atmosphere around the temple was beyond words. Having darshan on our first wedding anniversary made it an incredibly emotional and meaningful experience for both of us. It was a moment we will cherish for a lifetime. A special thanks to Poojari Ayush Tiwari for his help and support in making our darshan experience so memorable. His assistance added a special touch to this important milestone in our lives. 🙏❤️ Badrinath and Mana Village – Nature at its best The journey towards Badrinath offered absolutely picturesque views of the Himalayas. The magnificent mountains and stunning landscapes made the road journey itself an unforgettable experience. Mana Village was another highlight, with its peaceful surroundings, natural beauty, and serene atmosphere. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the mountains with my family. Ayodhya and Varanasi – A beautiful spiritual experience Visiting Ayodhya and Varanasi added another dimension to our journey, allowing us to experience the spiritual significance and cultural richness of these sacred cities. The transportation from Ayodhya to Varanasi was smooth and comfortable, and we appreciated the arrangements made for this part of the trip. Areas that need serious improvement 1. Hotel changes at the last minute – Our biggest concern This was the most disappointing part of our experience with Thrillophilia. At the time of booking, we were shown and promised a specific set of hotels, and our decision to proceed with the package was based partly on those accommodation details. We naturally expected the hotels provided during the actual trip to match what had been presented and agreed upon during booking. However, just one week before our departure, we received a hotel voucher listing a completely different set of hotels, with accommodation quality that was noticeably lower than what had originally been offered. This was not a minor change in details; it was a change that affected our expectations of the package we had paid for. Travelling for 10 days with my husband and parents, we wanted a comfortable and well-planned experience, particularly after long journeys and visits to demanding mountain destinations. Accommodation quality and comfort were therefore important considerations when we selected the package. We contacted the team to raise our concerns, and only then were efforts made to improve the accommodation arrangements during the middle of the trip. While we acknowledge that the team tried to address the issue, having to negotiate and rearrange hotel stays while already travelling created unnecessary stress, confusion, and disruption to our holiday. A trip of this scale should not require customers to repeatedly follow up to receive the accommodation they were initially promised. Hotel selections should be finalised and verified before the package is sold, and the confirmed hotels should be honoured. If a genuine change becomes unavoidable, customers should be informed transparently well in advance and offered comparable accommodation, with their agreement, rather than being presented with lower-quality alternatives at the last minute. The fact that we had to raise the issue ourselves and seek changes after the trip had already begun points to a serious gap in planning and quality control. This was entirely avoidable with proper coordination between the booking team and the operations team. I strongly recommend that Thrillophilia review its hotel confirmation process to ensure that the properties advertised during booking match the hotels ultimately provided. Customers should not have to compromise on the quality of their stay or spend valuable holiday time resolving issues that should have been settled before departure. 2. Driver language preference was not considered We had specifically requested an English-speaking driver while booking the package. However, the driver assigned to us spoke only Hindi. This created communication difficulties during the journey, particularly when we needed to discuss travel arrangements or clarify information. When a customer’s language preference is clearly communicated in advance, it should be taken into account during the assignment process. Better attention to this requirement would have made our travel experience much more comfortable. 3. Cash handling and additional expenses There were a few instances of cash misplacement that resulted in us paying for parking and other incidental expenses ourselves. Although these amounts were eventually reimbursed, the situation caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience during the trip. We appreciate that the reimbursements were made, but clearer communication and better coordination around expenses would have prevented these issues in the first place. Overall rating Overall rating: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ * Destinations and sightseeing: 5/5 – Beautiful destinations and breathtaking Himalayan views. * Spiritual experience: 5/5 – Our Kedarnath darshan on our first wedding anniversary was truly unforgettable. * Transportation and coordination: 3/5 – Some aspects were smooth, particularly the Ayodhya-to-Varanasi transfer, but communication and expense-related issues need improvement. * Hotel arrangements: 2/5 – The last-minute changes to different, lower-quality hotels and the need to resolve accommodation issues during the trip were a major disappointment. * Customer service and problem resolution: 3/5 – The team responded to our concerns, but several issues could have been avoided through better planning and proactive communication. Final thoughts The natural beauty of Kedarnath and Badrinath, the serenity of Mana Village, and the spiritual experiences in Ayodhya and Varanasi made this a memorable family journey. Sharing these experiences with my parents and celebrating our first wedding anniversary at Kedarnath made the trip particularly meaningful. I would like to thank the Simpy Singh team for their efforts and for helping us experience these wonderful destinations. However, I also believe that a travel company should deliver not only beautiful itineraries but also the quality, comfort, and coordination promised to customers. My biggest feedback to Thrillophilia is to take hotel commitments seriously. Changing the confirmed accommodation just a week before departure and providing lower-quality alternatives is not acceptable without proper communication and customer agreement. Resolving the issue only after customers complain, while they are already on the trip, is not the standard of planning and service we expected. With better advance planning, transparent hotel confirmations, attention to customer preferences, and proactive coordination, Thrillophilia could deliver a much better experience. I am giving 3/5 stars because the destinations and spiritual experiences were exceptional, but the operational shortcomings—particularly the hotel changes—prevented the trip from meeting our expectations fully. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps the team improve its services for future travellers. The memories we made with our family will always be precious, and I hope future customers can enjoy the same wonderful destinations with a smoother, more reliable travel experience.”

“Thrillophilia’s recommendation and knowledge of places and weather conditions were very helpful and this helped our trip go smooth. We went to Ladakh including Nubra and Pangong Tso. Thrillophilia recommended 2 rooms in Nubra and Pangong given we were having kids instead of one room as we cannot lie down with mattress. Also their knowledge on places helped us take proper precautions. Finally the driver in Ladakh is a very good person and he very well cooperated with our plan and ensured we didn’t miss any spots.”
