“It was our first time in Bali and on the whole trip was well planned and services were as committed. We were happy with our experience though there is always some room for enhancements. The resort at Ubud ( Ashoka tree resort)though beautiful had some attitude issues. The breakfast was not a buffet and they were extremely tight fisted with their quantities, including bread or butter and jam. So much so that we took to carrying our own butter along. There were no glasses in the room and when we asked for them we were told that we should have prebooked them and that we could always have water in the tea cups provided?.
The driver though courteous was extremely non informative , and the itinerary was apparently planned in such a way that no lunch time was factored in on most days and he had no idea where to stop so we could have our lunch. Any full day plan should always have a stop over for lunch at a decent place included even if we are buying it ourselves.
The second property (Jumboluwuk)was very well located with a sumptuous buffet breakfast, and a very cooperative and courteous staff .
Another point pertinent point to mention is that flight bookings were a major headache and definitely should have been handled more smoothly. And our flight out was very inconvenient and tiring.
And lastly Thrillophillia should look into facilitating visa processes where required.”
“We went on a trekking trip to valley of flowers and hemkund sahib gurudwara with thrillophilia and Priyanshu organised our trip so well. Our experience with them was really amazing. We were group of six people which includes age group from 13 year old kid to 50 year old couple. The guides provided by thrillophilia were very friendly and experienced. They ensured our safety and shared interesting insights about the region. We had little issues with our packed lunch but overall hospitality of thrillophilia was exceptional. 1. One hotel accommodation could be better as it was a small room with very minimal service, more like airbnb.

“This was my 1st winter trek and one of the best experience of life. The trek leader and other support was excellent. Dayara Bugyal is a must visit once, we had a wonderful experience of walk in the snow as well as the next day was sunny for the summit. The view of the forest at night was amazing, we also got to see 2 fox which was very exciting. The group was also excellent and supportive. Overall a super great experience. “It was the best journey of my life. Everything well organized and settled. Starting from the day of booking.
I met Mr. Arjun Prajapati, he helped me a lot in booking my trip and assuring the booking was safe. He was quite calm and patient while answering my lot of questions I asked. He made me connect with another Thrillophilia support team member, Ms. Kumkum Bhagwani who further looked for my rest partial payments. She was helpful and had sufficient knowledge to clear all my small doubts I had before packing for my trip and get ready for it. The best thing is that you can clear all your doubts before payment and before the trek very casually without being so formal and introvert.
The payment method for the trip was done smoothly. Ms. Kumkum instructed very clearly how to pay for each links and the response I got was quick. There was a transparency between me and both of the support team members (Ms. Kumkum and Mr. Arjun Prajapati). It was my first trip so I was nervous to book and pay online, but the these support members gained my trust and allowed me to believe in the process that was never a regret for sure. We had a Delhi to Delhi trip so the booking for buses from Delhi to Manali and back was done from the team side itself and the was so convenient and comfortable . Ms. Kumkum did not end her job there after wishing a happy journey, in-fact she was in tough while the whole trip asking about the bus boarding and asking about reaching the destination safely or not. We reached Manali and the instructor gave some advices to follow during the trek. Then we headed up towards the rental room where we equipped some needed accessories. We had a time for snacks and then we headed towards the trek with two amazing trek leaders, Mr. Surya and Mr. Viru. They were really good at their work and built a good bond with us just like a friend came for trekking with us. They motivated us to climb and push ourselves further and reach the Summit. The camp Hygiene was perfect and the food was hot served.
Things we received in the camps from the trekkers:
1.Clean private camps
2. Hot water/ honey water/ Luke warm water (to keep ourself warm and good)
3. Bread, Jam, peanut butter, milk, sandwiches, hot tea etc for breakfast
4. Biryani, Aloo puri, masala rice etc for lunch (packed in tiffin box)
5. Maggie, tea, Luke warm water etc for snacks at the camp
6. Roti (India Bread), Sabji (vegies), Rice, Dal, Soup for dinner
7. Medications required were carried by them
8. A Table and foldable chairs for dinning with a amazing view of mountains
9. Private lavatory tents distanced from the resting tents.
It was all worth every penny we paid.
We enjoyed a lot.
The regular tea and hot water was served in the chilling winds and it was so satisfying to get a cup of Maggie with a fantastic mountain view. We were instructed a amount to be taken if you want the helper to carry our bags. Even if you hand the bags in the middle of the trek the amount will be same. The guide trekkers were kind enough to hold our bags at times we were in difficulty for some distance even without charging for it.
Later the trek ended well with a lot of memories and we reached back Manali. Ms. Kumkum was waiting for us to get network and called us as soon as we were in the range asking if the trip went well and how was the experience and did we face any difficulty and also she told to inform her when ever you reach Delhi and home safely. We liked the support she gave throughout the journey and that's what makes us choose Thrillophilia again for a thought of trip in our minds. Once again, wonderful team from Thrillophilia and good supportive members like Ms. Kumkum Bhagwani and Mr. Arjun Prajapati and good trek leaders like Mr. Surya and Mr. Viru who makes the trip smooth and amazing.
