First attempt not delivered. Promised different courier. Same courier who left it outside even though we were in. Meat was short dated, two to four days on use by. Mixed quality, the rib eye was grey. Won’t be using again.

I have tried all their products. Unfortunately the quality of the beef and the lamb is so bad. Obviously they are using very old animals as both beef and lamb is extremely tough, also their butchers are not qualified ones particularly when for cutting the steaks.

I have purchased from saffron Alley many times and the meat has been excellent. However, in my last order all the chicken leg orders that I received smelt off (4 packets in total). In the order that I have just received the chicken breast smells off. Very disappointed as I thought I had finally found a reliable meat provider.

The chicken products have been generally good. And based on this, they should get a 3-4 star rating. Customer service is however an ineffectual joke. Their standard procedure is to say that they are “sorry that you are not fully satisfied or happy” with whatever is the problem. This is the kind of non apology apology. It is the equivalent of punching somebody in the face and then saying that you are sorry that their face hurts. It is an apology which is no apology and is designed merely to act as a psychological tool. They think they’re speaking to stupid people. They will however, never rectify it or do anything about it because the person that you end up speaking to has absolutely no power to decide anything. Twice I’ve had issues with the delivery; one time it was insufficiently packed with ice so that it was beginning to come to room temperature by the time it had arrived. I called them and told them about this and they just said oh we’re sorry and will take that on advisement of course nothing else after that. The second time I received the package which had a lot of chicken in it and one of the bags of chicken was in fact not properly sealed and so the juices from that chicken ended up on the other bags, and there was a question about its preservation because of this. I called and emailed with pictures and videos and was told it will be escalated to the people who can actually decide anything and they’ll get back to me. Of course they never got back to me. They did nothing about the fact that they sent an unsealed raw chicken package to me. Because they have in essence, absolutely no customer support or service I cannot recommend them and will never be buying anything from them again.

The quality of chicken isn't great. It seems to be pumped chicken not like normal free range chicken. This unfortunately isn't what I expected it would be and is quite low quality meat

I did not like the meat at all. There was a weird smell in everything(chicken, mutton). Tjis was my first time ordering from them(someone recommended) but will not order again. It is expensive than my usual shop which is way better than this one.

I am very sorry but I ordered thinking first thing it be convenient as I’m a new mother secondly it would be premium cuts of meat. I’m sorry but I was disappointed especially with chicken prep there was still a lot of hair on the chicken and a lot of fat with jelly bits. I won’t be ordering again.

don’t trust their meat! i ordered lean beef mince and it was the most fattiest mean i’ve ever had, i then order lean dice meat they gave me beef brisket instead and when bringing up the problem they gave me 5% voucher instead of an decent reimbursement. not worth it

I ordered two 200g Denver cut, full blood, wagyu steaks. They arrived promptly, as usual, however, one of them was 190g and the other was about 175g. So I was very disappointed in that. Considering that this is an item that is sold by weight, it most definitely matters and it most definitely makes a difference. So from my perspective, I didn't recieve what I paid for. You're a professional butchers who should have high standards and the experience to maintain those standards.

I ordered 3kg of lamb leg, i received 3 packs of 1 kg each mostly bones, I was disappointed. however, the whole packs were loose and nearly open including chicken, the meat was a bit blueish`.
