“The convenience of online shopping is sometimes outweighed by requests such as this to complete a survey, even if one has made only a single purchase and is not likely to need the supplier's services again. Why is this necessary? If I buy from a shop, I pay and that's it. I am not then asked to rate their service, although I would go back to them if I had a problem with the actual purchase, or the level of service. Yes, I can ignore the request, but if I do, I feel as though I am being unhelpful. This does not happen if I buy from a retail outlet.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The last thing we want to do is cause offence or inconvenience to our customers by requesting feedback and there is no obligation at all to complete a review. Seeking feedback is something all businesses do to stand out, provide reassurance to future potential shoppers and improve their product and service. Outlets with a physical location may pop a review form into your shopping bag or print a request on the receipts. Online businesses do not meet the customer face to face so we can only use electronic means to send a polite request. The review request is the only time we contact our customers following the usual order transactional communications (unless you sign up to receive our newsletter). “The safe & service was very good, But it would have been nice if the safe was covered with something as i did not want it on full display telling all my neigbours that i have a SAFE !!!!”

Many thanks for your feedback. Our engineers will receive reminders that dust sheets are to be used when transporting the safe from the delivery van/wagon into residential properties.

“I irdered personal alarm, it was a free offer - but ordering was easy, and a confirmation email was sent to me by the company. The product was delivered well packaged, and arrived promptly. I would not hesitate to use the company again, as their service was very good.”

“Outstanding service from Total Safes,more or less unheard of in this day and age,but sadly let down by DHL. Waited in all day but did not turn up,without any communication from them. Very helpful driver when it did arrive!”

I'm very sorry you were inconvenienced in this way and as discussed I raised this issue with the carrier. The driver ran out of driving hours and had to return to the depot but this is no excuse for lack of communication. Many thanks for your generous review and your feedback is appreciated.

As discussed I raised the issue with the carrier and it seems the driver ran out of driving hours and had to return to depot and goods went out for next day morning delivery. “Our safe was installed yesterday. We had to wait a little longer than if it was just being delivered but installation was done in just over a week and on the best day for me and I saved quite a bit of money than if I was paying for installation seperately. Communication has been excellent with all Total Safes staff on the phone and also the engineers. Everyone very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Thank you.”
