“the service was easy to order and straight forward i was a bit annoyed when i was told on the phone the item was in stock however i ordered it and then had an email saying it would be delivered in about two weeks as it was out of stock”

Hi Darren, Many thanks for taking the time to leave a rating and comments. I'm sorry if you were told the colour that you ordered was a stock item. It is only the anthracite grey that is kept in stock and all other colours are made to order so have a lead time of 10-15 working days. The Secured By Design postbox is very popular and we are aware we need to try to improve the lead time for other colours where possible. The product page does state the accurate lead times but perhaps we need to make it clearer. I will also ensure staff take extra special care when quoting lead times over the phone. It's feedback such as this which helps us improve so thank you for your time and have a great Easter break! Kind regards, Kay

“I emailed a number of questions over a period of a couple of months and had very helpful and fast response answers. The delivery and installation went perfectly and the two men were very helpful, polite and efficient. Fully recomended.”

“Delivery man was very helpful, wheeled the safe to where we wanted it even though it was suppose to be curb side delivery only. Only complaint was - there was no definite time slot for delivery, so we were prepared to wait in all day, but it came nice and early - so very happy....”

“The convenience of online shopping is sometimes outweighed by requests such as this to complete a survey, even if one has made only a single purchase and is not likely to need the supplier's services again. Why is this necessary? If I buy from a shop, I pay and that's it. I am not then asked to rate their service, although I would go back to them if I had a problem with the actual purchase, or the level of service. Yes, I can ignore the request, but if I do, I feel as though I am being unhelpful. This does not happen if I buy from a retail outlet.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The last thing we want to do is cause offence or inconvenience to our customers by requesting feedback and there is no obligation at all to complete a review. Seeking feedback is something all businesses do to stand out, provide reassurance to future potential shoppers and improve their product and service. Outlets with a physical location may pop a review form into your shopping bag or print a request on the receipts. Online businesses do not meet the customer face to face so we can only use electronic means to send a polite request. The review request is the only time we contact our customers following the usual order transactional communications (unless you sign up to receive our newsletter). “The safe & service was very good, But it would have been nice if the safe was covered with something as i did not want it on full display telling all my neigbours that i have a SAFE !!!!”

Many thanks for your feedback. Our engineers will receive reminders that dust sheets are to be used when transporting the safe from the delivery van/wagon into residential properties.

Hi Anna, Sorry you got a different colour to the one you asked for. When we offered colour choices on the charm alarm giveaway it did state we could not guaranteed you would receive your preferred colour but we would try. Thanks for your feedback and hope you don't have reason to use your personal alarm ;)
