“Terrible customer service. I have tried calling and emailing. No reply. I suspect that TCD does not have my item in stock and will not reply. I want to know how long the delay is going to be before dispatch but have no possibility to find out because the customer service team does not reply.”

“Ordered three items from this terrible company on 12th April on a 3-5 day delivery window. I called them after 2 weeks and I was told they where waiting for one item from the manufacturer (why did you take my money, if you didn’t have the stock). I was informed my order had been upgraded to express delivery. Umm, I don’t think so as courier informed me they were sent the items 4 days ago. It is now a month, yes folks 4 weeks after I ordered from Trade Counter Direct and nothing. Please take my advice and avoid this tragic company.”

“TERRIBLE SERVICE I HAVE PAID FOR AN ITEM IN FULL 8 DAYS AGO, AND STILL AWAITING THE PRODUCT, I HAVE TRIED TO CALL, EMAIL YET NO REPLY AT ALL THE ORDER SAYS Thanks, Matthew! We're On It. Your order’s in. We’re working to get it packed up and out the door—expect a shipping confirmation email soon. WELL ITS OBVIOUSLY NOT IN AND THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT WORKING ON IT !!!”

“Very rude lady receptionist hinged up on me tried calling back she knew my number wasn’t interested to answer then called unknown then she pick up as soon I speak she hung up, the sent me the wrong product and we’re not trying to sorted out, cow boys, head ache, ripped off me and left with wrong product and extremely bad experience beyond the expectations and I m very unhappy more about the customer service than having wrong product ( wrong pipe cutter) no help what so ever…… if u want head ache then be my guest”

“Do not buy from this company. Complete waste of time and money. Having received my order of a £470 dehumidifier that doesn't work at all, I have called multiple times and emailed multiple times. Impossible to get a reply and always promised to be called back but nothing. I am now forced issue a reclaim for my money through my credit card company.”

“I ordered 1000 no 2.5 x 60mm A2 stainless steel oval head cladding nails from TCO which arrived well packaged a few weeks later. Unfortunately they sent out the wrong nails - 2.8 x 76mm flat head nail. I contacted them to let them know of this error however the email response I got said that they had sent the correct nails. I have responded by email 3 times (which included pictures to show my order confirmation and the box of wrong nails,) and also twice on their 'instant' messenger on their website. I have heard nothing back from either of these methods and there is no phone number online to call. Exceptionally terrible experience and customer service. I will never order from them again and would discourage anyone else to do the same.”

“Very bad I've been waiting two weeks for my purchased item to arrive and still nothing, I paid £105 and I'm calling them and they tell me that the article I paid for hasn't gotten to them yet to make me delivery after that. I do not recommend”

“No after sales care. I purchased a Ridgid K-45 AF-5 Autofeed Drain Cleaning Machine Kit - 240v. the machine arrived with a EUROPEAN Plug (not advised of this a point of sale), I tried to phone several times and followed the automated service to send an email. Scott messaged me back and advised me to buy an adaptor or Cut off the plug and change it for 3 pin. I have replied twice to ask if they are supplying a new plug or adaptor, I am yet to hear a response. will think twice before shopping here again.”

Hi Martin, My utmost apologies about the plug; we normally send out an european adaptor for all of the Ridgid K-45. Unfortunately COVID-19 impacted our business in ways we were not ready for. I believe Scott had tried his best while we were shot staffed. I can get an adaptor out to you today if you still require still. Andrew.

“Poor Service, order over a week old with no sign of it being dispatched plus customer service not being very helpful. Happy for the customer to pay extra on shipping with no offer to combine orders + shipping or update you on items that are not in stock. Will avoid in the future,”

“During the Christmas period I ordered a Milwaukee M18 CHX-0 after opening the consignment package this clearly is not a SDS Drill this was infact a Jigsaw resulting on scheduled works being re ranged. After being assured that the correct product will turn up at my door the next day before 12 noon it has come to my attention that the faulty computer system Trade Counter Direct uses has had another glitch and my SDS drill is still on the shelf in Devon therefore i would have stayed home for THREE days to sign for this piece of equipment. Also when the correct tooling arrived there was not even bubble wrap as a result the sds drill arrived damaged. This service is not professional as a client should not be expected to receive this service from a company .”
