After two months of investing, I decided to make my first withdrawal, but my account with over $160,000 was suddenly locked. I was told to contact customer service, but they have ignored my requests to withdraw. Just booked 10 days trip to Morocco with Travel Local. Was assigned an agent who is helpful and responded to our enquiries very promptly. Upon payment and confirmation, we received the detailed day to day itinerary and discovered that we do not get a guide for most of the days just the driver. Just 3 days of guided (2hrs/3hrs/6hrs ) tours. We would have to pay additional if we want local guide in Marrakech and Casablanca. We are on our own (free and easy) most of the days. All entrance fees are not included. For the amount we paid , it's such a reap of. Have yet to go on the trip. Will update our experience after we have gone on the trip

I just used Travel Local for a girls trip to Croatia. If you are going to Croatia, I do not recommend using them as we had a negative experience with the local agent. We booked our own accommodations and TL was able to book transfers and tours for our group of 5. They are legit and provided the services we agreed upon. However I have to say that working with our agent Ingrid was stressful and unpleasant at times. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her with questions and gave rude answers several times. While we didn't have any major mishaps, there were a handful of small details that were missed and/or miscommunicated. Instead of being helpful and kind when these things happened, Ingrid expressed general annoyance and discourteousness. As an example, we confirmed at the time of booking that one of our boat trips would provide towels, and then on the boat they had no towels. Really not that big of a deal, but we let Ingrid know after the trip so she could be aware for future clients. She blamed us saying that we had not asked, then that we had not confirmed, then finally (when we re-sent her email which confirmed) that it was our fault for not asking the captain before we left the port so that we could have gone back to our vacation rental and gotten our own towels. We were much more annoyed with this foolish back and forth than the actual lack of towels. There were maybe 3 similar incidents like this that we encountered including a bizarre emphasis on the fact that we had snorkel masks which is not a thing we had asked for, but sure, thanks. On the plus side, all of our car service drivers were wonderful, communicative and on time. Travel Local clearly partnered with a good company there. Unfortunately, though, we will not be using Travel Local again and I hope they improve their customer service. We also shared this feedback directly with the company. They responded by saying it must have been "miscommunication" and backing up their agent. Then they proceeded to reply to my friend's review on TrustPilot to say that we should reach out to them. They also said "After reviewing the email correspondence from my colleague in Customer Success, it seems there may be some misunderstanding, as the tone of the message differs from what was reflected in your review.". My friend verbatim copied the correspondence we received from the agent, so there was little room for misrepresentation of the tone we received. I wish they would not continue covering for their agent's bad behavior which is basically invalidating our experience.

Substandard tours despite top tier pricing. Make sure you read the T&Cs- there are ridiculous clauses like having to inform them of problems within 24hours, even if you’re in a country where you have no signal… they then focus on the clause to excuse themselves rather than the terrible service/tours. Extremely dissapointing
