“My wife and I have stayed at this travelodge many times,some rooms have a better noise insulation,road traffic noise etc,than others,but overall it is the location of this travelodge that suits us,the staff are very good in our experience.”

“Value for money as usual. Excellent connectivity and the room is comfortable enough, don't expect any luxuries though. Plenty of shops and pubs nearby. I don't rate it 5 just because of the noise, as the hotel is next to the railway (literally a few metres away). However, this was expected and actually, they tell you about this while booking, so it was not a surprise.”

“The booking was made difficult by the program NOT simply accepting that I want a room for 1 person and secondly every time I tried to "move to extras" I had suddenly and magically booked another room. This kept occurring until I got to 5 rooms, then had to work out how to remove them. Not exactly user friendly.”

“We usually stay at a Premier Inn but thought we'd try Travelodge for a change. We found the room to be very sparse with no sofa or bedside tables and nowhere to place a suitcase other than on the floor, despite being in an accessible room! The bedding was very poor quality and pillows were extremely hard. The bathroom was excellent with a great shower. Staff were friendly but were unable to offer a softer pillow as there is only one type available. Based on this experience we would not use Travelodge in future.”

“I wanted to book a room for myself and 6 year old son, so I put in that I wanted a room for 1 adult and 1 child. The only room it offered is a family room - this is double/king bed and pull out bed. Twin rooms were £20 cheaper but not available as an option when you state you are booking with children. I had to choose 2 adults to get this option. The website needs updating to reflect this!”
