“The accommodation is fine, the manager Lisa is very helpful, but getting to find the entrance of the hotel is a nightmare. It was dark and the postcode does not navigate you to the correct place, I eventually had to stop and ask someone and they said its beside the KFC. so I put that into the sat nav and it worked. Not a pleasant experience - I am an advanced driver and was negotiating the islands off the A1 for 20 mins. I wont be recommending anyone to stay here, which is a real shame just because of getting here.”

“Foul smell on the landing. The bathroom was not clean. Staff couldn’t understand simple English. I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and I have not had an issue but this stay has been very bad”

“Not very welcoming. View over carpark and a window from another room less than 2 metres away with no privacy. Kept awake all night by being right next to busy road . Super room are tiny not worth the extra cost . Staff didn't seem to care”

“Easy to get to although parking if you've got a big van is troublesome, receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, room clean n tidy although no bath, needed one today, but most annoying of all is the lack of USB points, and that's across the board with Travelodge, you'd think in this day n age they'd be able to swap the plug sockets over to ones with USBs.”
