“The booking system is fine until the point of payment. When I wish to use my credit card and select the card section it consistently takes me to Apple Pay which I do not want to use. Several times this happens and it is very frustrating to say the least. I have to go back and forth trying to bring up the card payment page and I feel it's only luck when it appears. This has occurred the last twice I have booked on line and I just wish it was easier to pay if not using Apple Pay, Google or Paypal but just wanting to use a bank card. If there is something I'm not doing right I'd love to know. It really puts me off using the website to book even though I'm very happy staying at Travelodge. Please could this be sorted out?”

“I've been a frequent Travelodge user for decades - mainly for business travelling. Apart from the odd rare occasion, I've always been pleased. You know what you're getting - the rooms tend to be clean, comfortable and adequate. However, I am bitterly disappointed that Travelodge has very recently sought to ruthlessly capitalise on the trend for extortionate hotel room rates. After having two years of not being able to meet clients due to Covid, it's a bitter blow to my business that doing so is now becoming too costly for my one-man business. But I'm sure Travelodge will have enough customers who are on corporate expense accounts that they won't give two hoots about me.”

“I was emailed by Travelodge to review my booking experience. I booked via the website which was clear and I achieved my goal. Using Safari on a Mac the date box on the search page jumps down off screen when you change the month - every time - and you have to scroll down to get it back. Aside this mildly irritating IT flaw there are no issues. The website offers Apple Pay which I use and I see Google Pay is on there now too. This speeds up checkout”
