“The staff are great, facilities are good and the hotel is quiet. I did have a problem last night with a blocked hand basin and reported it to the front desk. They said that'll see to it straight away.”

“Tried to book a room for my husband on the day he wanted to stay. Picked room and was sent to payment. As he was staying on the day I booked the savers rate. When my husband received the email it was booked for the next day instead. I called the hotel as website wasn’t allowing amendment as I turned out the hotel was fully booked. So even though it allowed to book and took my money a room was not available and was told by hotel staff I had lost the money.my husband ended up at another travel lodge nearby and had to stay in a family room. He had no choice as his mother passed away that day and had to stay somewhere. At no point did any member of staff tell us we could amend our booking to another hotel and pass the previous booking money on to that. We were just told you have lost the money on the savers rate. It was very stressful and has still not been resolved. We will not be staying again and your customer service needs addressing”

“Receptionist excellent. Very helpful and with a smile. Floor creeks by bed in room 223, no soap in holder by sink but everything clean and tidy. Would stay again.”
