“Firstly I am not writing this because I have been "cherry picked"! This is a genuine review from a seasoned 76 year old traveller.
Just wanted to let you know that my recent trip to South Africa was successful. I booked all my plane tickets through you (via Skyscanner) - and although being a bit nervous after reading some rather negative reviews about TravelUp - I have to say that all my flights were exactly what I expected them to be.
I had no problems booking my seats and checking in on line - thank you to Michelle who was helpful answering all my questions.”

“I was a bit wary about using TravelUp to book, as I had not heard of them before but I had been guided to the site by Trip Advisor who I do trust and when I did some online research the reviews came back that said this was a reputable company. I phoned up to make a booking because I prefer to speak with a live person and I talked to Faraz Ali who remained my customer contact person throughout the whole process.. Faraz was very helpful and replied to all my questions via his timely emails.. whenever I sent him an email with a question he always responded in a timely fashion so I never had to worry that he would just suddenly "disappear" on me.. When I had trouble with paying using the payment link Faraz was very patient in sending me the link multiple times and eventually helping me resolve the payment issue through alternative means. I have not traveled yet to the hotel that I booked but I hope and trust there will be no hassles with the booking once I get to the hotel.. So far I feel I have received very good customer service from Faraz Ali .”
“They managed to change my flight booking after flight cancellation by the Airline. They satisfied my request to the best of their ability given availability of dates by the airline. If I am allowed, I would only advise Travel Up to try to reduce waiting time on the phone and may also try to reply to emails promptly.

“I am writing this review after 6 weeks of going around in circles with this travel agent, Hopefully we are now getting the refund I have now been promised by an Involuntary cancellation. Samson Samuel one of the customer services personnel I cant thank him anymore as for hopefully putting me in the right direction. Nothing but respect for him as this has been a stressful situation losing out on £1400 that I haven’t got. I hope I get the refund that im entitiled too and carry on using Travelup for my future destinations.”
“Having waited over 2 years for a refund from Thai Airways this finally happened. Can’t really blame TravelUp for issues caused by Thai Airways, however they have been very good in processing the refund and customer service has been very good. It is a trustworthy company and I will have confidence in using the website again.”
“Our BA flight was cancelled and we were unable to make new bookings via the airline so called TravelUp. I did have to wait quite a long time for an operator but received an email within the hour as they promised and the bookings were changed very quickly by an operator called Roy Edwards, so I was impressed by his speed and efficiency. I have not given 5 stars purely because of the wait time but he deserves a good rating for the speed of sorting this out!”
