Trivago didn't make me happy, but something mentioned on Trivago did. Saints and Scolars in Disbury, precariously close to Manchester City, has 3 brilliant things. First the boss Brian, who is nowhere near as grumpy as my dinner partner made out. He is superb. Second, his supporting staff are off the planet good. And, third, his steaks are to die for. Here is a restauranteur who knows how to buy meat. Plus a lovely ambience. Great expeerience.

I travel a lot for work and this is my go-to site for booking my hotel. Sometimes the differences in price are staggering so it's great to see how much money you have saved. There is also a lot of information on each hotel although occasionally some don't have enough pictures.

Wide range of hotel sites and OTAs on board this clean and easy use site. All the prices match up with what you see at the booking site, which is not always the case with some sites. Would be good to see all the best prices for different days of the month at once, like you can on other sites, but otherwise I personally like trivago a lot.

I like how simple this site is to use. Lots of white space and no clutter. And no popups or ads! They just focus on hotels they have so many prices you can be pretty sure you're getting the best deal.
