“We LOVE the Nutty No Grainer True North granola which is not overly sweet, completely full of a variety of nuts & grains. NO PEANUTS! Just good nuts & grains. It's hard to stop munching on it. I use it on cereal, salads, breads, etc. I have tried other varieties but enjoy the Nutty No Grainer best. I purchase 10 pounds then divide it into quart bags to put in freezer. It lasts us about a year IF I DON'T MUNCH ON IT TOO OFTEN. Best I've ever eaten & such friendly accommodating staff. I will not allow myself to run out of Nutty No Grainer.”

The difference in this product from our other traditional granolas is that it actually has no grains in it--just nuts and seeds baked with maple syrup and coconut oil. It can become quite addicting, and your strategy sounds perfect. Yes, it does keep well in the freezer, too, and I'm glad you discovered that. “This granola is a godsend. I cannot tolerate oats, almost always in granola, and sweetness of various kinds are not my friend either. This is fast y and can be used many ways. Very good on a Turkey sandwich , for example and on potatoes, especially sweet. A huge winner. Highly recommend.”

Hello Walker, Thank you for this fantastic review of our Nutty No Grainer Mediterranean product. You're right--no oats and because it is a savory product, with no added sugar, it does work well for so many non-traditional ways. Adding it to a turkey sandwich or enhancing the taste of a sweet potato are perfect ways to use it. I like to add it to pesto pasta and put it on a salad, too. “Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. Got the gift sampler with blueberry, van/maple, nuts, and chocolate, and shd loves all of them. She told me she's going to order for herself after she runs out. Of course I'm happy that she's happy. Very good product and arrived before scheduled day.”

Frank, thanks so very much for leaving this wonderful review, and for your continuing support for our small business. You're right that the Nutty No Grainer Mediterranean is our only "savory" product at this time--no oats, no sweetener, spices and olive oil! We do make a more traditional granola called First Date which contains more nuts and seeds than oats and with no added sugar, either. It does include a small amount of date powder which adds a hint of sweetness to it. It's the next closest to savory we make. I hope you have a chance to try it at some point. “Their granola never fails to make my wife happy. For Christmas, I'm trying out their cookie mix for my nephews - we'll see what they think soon enough. Looking forward to post-pandemic times and hoping their granola of the month subscriptions will return!”

“We first discovered this amazing line of products in a Vermont B&B, and then the local co-op from which we bought several bags! The quality and taste is so far superior to commercial products that we now mail order all our granola from True North. And the cookie mix? Might be the best cookie in the land. And so easy to do!”

“Franklin introduced us to this granola at the Brattleboro Coop several years ago, and we’ve been repeat costumers since. We’ve tried several flavors, but First Date is our all-time favorite. It has the perfect amount of sweet and generous servings of nuts — a perfect compliment to smoothie bowls. And the cookie mix...oh goodness, those cookies are sinfully delicious. We don’t just get good food from True North, we get the satisfaction of knowing we’re buying from good people (we love the personalized messages sent in the deliveries!).”

Did you know that the First Date actually has more nuts in it than grains, which is one reason it is a bit more expensive than some of other flavors. “I have loved True North Granola for years since discovering it at the Farmers Market in Brattleboro VT, where I used to have a weekend home. Lucky for me, the talented & amazing owners, Ingrid & Franklin, told me about their website and I was able to order it online and enjoy it near NYC where I live & work. I have turned on many friends to True North and often give it as gifts during the holidays. It is simply the best tasting granola I’ve ever had with a broad variety of flavors to suit most palates. My favorites are Go Nuts, Granola Blues & Maple Vanilla followed by the seasonal Pumpkin flavor. Sometimes I go crazy & mix them. But one thing is for sure, I never leave home without it! I always have a bag of it when I travel domestically or internationally. This way I guarantee I’ll always have a healthy breakfast or snack on hand! Below is a photo of my True North granola bag photographed in Jaipur India in 2019 at the breakfast table of my hotel. Never leave home without it!”

“A friend introduced me to North Country Granola a few years ago and it has been my go-to addition to my breakfast yogurt. It also makes a great snack for hiking adventures! It is so easy to order online with delivery a few days later—and the personal note fans snack pack included is such a wonderful touch! I look forward to reading it each time.
