“Trustpilot as a review platform is a sham. They facilitate companies in removing the real-life reviews. When you have a negative comment, they remove it, they ask you to edit it, which you do, they then remove it again. You provide them all the evidence of the attached and they still remove the link because the scam company doesn't want it to be promoted. Don't trust Trustpilot and don't trust the companies on there....especially not paypercustomer”

“Hi, I am angry and frustrated that trust pilot has removed all of my reviews. I have tried to discuss the matter with them.Unable ever to get through by telephone and the return email was curt and rude saying the issue is closed with no review or indeed any explanation. Curiously my comments were praising the efficiency and politeness of a well respected company? I have absolutely no trust in their integrity so will never post another review or use their site for information. I have written to the company I was commenting on to advise them of the issue. I am not a fraudster so object to being treated as such. Hopeless company.”

“They deleted my negative review at the request of the company claiming they have an auto detection software that detects fake reviews. At the same time they let said company invite dozens and dozens of people with obviously fake accounts to write positive reviews about them. Overall score for said company (Postnord Sweden) have gone up from 1.6 to 3.6 in less than three months. Not shady at all!”

“Trustpilot fake review site Trustpilot fake review site Before parting with my hard earned cash like most people I would check the business out on review sites Trustpilot being one of them, but not anymore. Recently I downloaded for free from a company called Total Ad Block a free download that would stop pop up adds appearing on my computer. please read the review I posted for this company on Trustpilots website !!!! Total Adblock Do not try there free trial, if you decide its not for your computer when the free trial expires they will constantly harass you with there adds, seriously they are offering a service to stop annoying adds but its ok for them to send them. The most annoying thing is after you click the X to remove there add it comes back again !0 seconds latter. This is a bullying tactic and this company thinks your going to give them money after the stress they have created for you on your pc. I have now reset my pc to a earlier date (before I downloaded there free trial Trustpilot contacted me on behalf of Total Adblock claiming my review was fake and demanded I send them proof which was evidently imposable as it clearly states in the review I have now removed this download from my computer plus if you read Total Adblocks reviews on other sites there are reviews just like mine experiencing the same thing. Trustpilot remove negative reviews for companies as they pay Trustpilot a premium each month for other services they offer so basically they demand the negative review be removed or they will cancel there monthly premium. In the meantime people like you and me are not reading all the reviews only selected ones they choose.”

“I have used Trust Pilot for a while now and always relied on their reviews as a consumer. I have also written several reviews. My latest review was flagged by the company in question as "Not a genuine experience" and since then I have been made to jump through hoops to prove not only that my experience was genuine but also to defend my honesty and my own integrity too. The Trust Pilot system is heavily stacked in favour of any company who flags a review, especially if they are paying for the Trust Pilot service. They will ask for proof of your interaction then delay replying, refuse to accept your proof, lose emails, then make you start all over again. Basically they will do anything to stall you until you give up. Trust Pilot reviews cannot be trusted and in my opinion are an absolute disgrace! I will never use them again.”

“I put a truthful review on about a company and it was taken off. These cowboys charge companies to protect their online reviews, and don’t care about customers. They also don’t answer the phone. BE CAREFUL. 🤬”

“This is horrible! Every-time I write a review, it gets flagged. They claim to have an auto detection software that detects fake reviews. They claimed that your review was flagged because "it breached the guidelines and is suspicious". PLEASE AVOID USING TRUSTPILOT FOR SERIOUS RESEARCHING FOR COMPANIES AND SITES! I promise you, every company has a spam of fake reviews. Someone don't even HAVE EVIDENCE that their statement is true.”

“As a business I had set up a Trustpilot account for review collection. Sadly the website it was to be used for fell through and was not proceeded with. I cancelled my Trustpilot account after 6 months (aid in advance so no outstanding payment) and now they just harass me constantly for payment of a service that is never going to be used. I will never sign up with them again, plenty of other options without the grief.”

“I got scammed by a certain bitcoin exchange called zcash global, anytime i post my review on trustpilot they keep removing the review. I tried all means to get my money back from the company to no avail. Gratefully i got help from a recovery expert called refundcart (find them on google), they got back what i lost. This could have been prevented if trust pilot did not remove the negetive reviews warning others.”

“Mr Green pays Trustpilot to remove negative feedback . This suggests they are trustworthy , however if you ask the internet why Mr Green is Registered in Malta , it will tell you Mr Green is a Tax Dodger that avoids paying the NHS and Care Homes a single penny . Also fined for not protecting vulnerable people . That's not trustworthy !!!!”

“Trustpilot have removed many of my negative reviews, even when I have had a link from the company directly. I, therefore, can only assume that despite their 'independence' they are funded by companies which makes them unworthy to have anything to do with the word 'trust.' An example of one email I have had from them: As part of Trustpilot’s efforts to ensure that reviews always reflect genuine experiences, we use advanced software to detect unusual review patterns. Your review of 'www.dotcomforexample.com' has been flagged as suspicious and removed from our platform. Note that it hasn’t been deleted, but it’s no longer visible and won’t count towards the business’s star rating. If you think there’s been a misunderstanding, you’re welcome to contact us by replying to this email. Despite contacting them my reviews never get reinstated”

“Trustpilot have silenced me from reviewing a fraudulent company called ravencoin . I got an account with RAVENCOIN from the remarkable reviews from trustpilot . Within 3 months ravencoin have disappeared with my savings and trustpilot silence my from reviewing this terrible organisation that is fraud. Ravencoin continues to collect It's prey from the trust pilot porthole to scam more victims. This is so very wrong and trustpilot must be made culpable. I will not be silenced”

“I did write a negative review about a company which pays Trustpilot for their services. The company acts like a bully and reported my negative review hence Trustpilot removed my review. This seems like a general behaviour by this company to cover up their negative ratings. Several other people have been treated the same way. Trustpilot states I did not provide enough evidence. I have filled a complaint to a certain industry organization to investigate my statement.”

“Karl at trustpilot took down a genuine negative review I put up saying because I had no documentation. Karl however failed to answer my questions why I and others could easily put up positive reviews or fake reviews without documentation UNTRUSTWORTHY PILOT!”
