A very vindictive customer posted an untrue review of our services which reveals commercially sensitive information. The customer will not pick up the phone to us or answer emails or letters. His review breaks our contract with him. Trust Pilot will not remove it. In this case it's businesses that should be warned about this customer. However, he is able to cause damage to our company with no redress. Trust Pilot is an operation that cares not about its (paying) customers and won't listen to any reason.

I have been mistaken for a another company and negative reviews have been posted. Trustpilot will not take down the review, will not accept any evidence from me that the review is wrong, and will not take steps to ensure that the reviewers are genuine. On their scoring system i would vote them on a minus score.

TrustPilot does nothing -- absolutely nothing -- when fake reviews are reported to their compliance team.

All of the bad reviews that have been on Trustpilot for a company called Intelligent Business transfer have mysteriously vanished leaving only 5 star ones. Trustpilot claim that they could not verify my association with IBT was genuine even after I sent in PDF copies of E-mails, invoices, Sales leafelts and adverts between us and IBT - Seem corruption is alive and well and living in the internet

They have removed my negative reviews. They are absolutely pointless as a review system. They serve themselves & no-one else unless you pay them.

Shocking. They let people post fake reviews all over our business without any proof of purchase or proof of the experience. Then to top it all they delete the genuine positive reviews which we have proof are genuine. Bunch of cowboys. Personally I want our business off this site as quickly as possible.

So if you write a review of a company that in ANY way offers criticism (in our case sending spam/unsolicited emails to multiple recipients in our company), they will deny your review. TrustPilot IS NOT in any way an unbiased source of information about companies. It is purely a one-sided promotional tool in use by companies to "whitewash" their reputations online. Reviews on TrustPilot must be considered irrelevant based on their policies of disallowing even the most benign critical feedback.

Trustpilot block valid reviews and allow reviews obviously placed by companies, individuals and organisations obviously trying to bump up ratings. It's a scam, with a valid reference reviews can be posted and the company itself is best to know these references. A very good example is yodel.co.uk which has a score of 6.5 however a quick survey over internet shows multiple people with similar concerns and the the company rating around 0. Trustpilot is a scam designed to promote the companies that wish promote it while they turn a blind eye.

Trustpilot cannot spot trends and scams. It has been proven to hijack businesses and and be unfair to consumers. I refused to allow my company to be listed until Trustpilot adopts a better approach to website and review compliance. All websites should have the ICO registration and company name of the benificiary company. Fake reviews, trading standards enforcement visits and investigations for a company should be listed with the company name. Reputation management and community spirit to help a company and its clients benefit from Trusted reviews is flawed. Despite 18 months of pointing out fake reviews, reviewer profiles and gaming of the trustpilot system it continues to be one that companies and consumers should be wary of. Real negative reviews can help companies improve, but fake positive reviews is fraudulent. I should not have to post such a review but it is impossible to get Trustpilot compliance to take prompt action. Even its flagging system is useless. Andy Butler R3 Data Recovery

We ask customers to review us on Trustpilot and they've removed all positive reviews and kept all the negative ones. Customers have emailed them proof of purchase and Trustpilot never get back to them. I've emailed them and no response. I have no idea why they are doing this, its totally unfair and damaging.

They let companies pay them to remove reviews. So the reviews are unreliable. see review of john lewis on trustpilot. its very bad, because john lewis dont pay them to remove bad reviews. john lewis service is the best I've ever had. unlike some of the other companies i've had that are highly rated on trustpilot simply because they pay them.

Omg, totally, Trustpilot is in it to make lots of money. They only get money from people who want to make it appear that they have good, legitimate reviews. A classic example is Life Ionizer. They control and can write their own reviews. You can see the REAL way they do business by going to www.FakeSpot.com

Just like everybody else has said, Trust Pilot is an absolute joke of a website. Completely uncontrolled and undemocratic corporate control that does nothing for consumers whatsoever. Call it Distrust Pilot.

Look ! This is how it works ! You have a business and get bad reviews on trustpilot then they contact you “we don’t know what’s going on but let us help you ” you pay trustpilot and BLAM no more bad reviews they filter any bad ones and publish good ones. Don’t believe me look at the TP reviews for John Lewis the trusted house hold name (don’t pay TP) and then webuyanycar scammers (that pay TP) Amazing hey ? TP should be investigated and shut down !!!!

After recently getting a lot of help from a showroom in a business I left them a quick review on Trustpilot to say basically good showroom service and recommended them. 17 hours later Trustpilot took it down on the grounds of compliance. Despite sales order docs and Invoices they would not reinstate. I find that very strange and after searching the web realise I'm not the only one. It seems this sort of thing happens very regular with Trustpilot. Perhaps some in-house Trustpilot manipulation. Anyway, looked at a selection of reviews from companies both good and bad that I had previous business with and within an hour realised that there were many, many anomalies. It made me wonder just how honest Trustpilot reviews are. From my research I would say that there is definite manipulation of reviews and that makes me suspect everything this company has on the web. Some companies that I know have bad reviews elsewhere on the net have little evidence of that on Trustpilot. Suspicious indeed. I do not intend to read anymore of their fiction, at least thats what I think.
