Booked to have a dash cam fitted. Slot was from 8am-8pm. Waited in and got a call at 1.30pm telling me it's going to have to be rescheduled because of the wet weather. It wasn't even raining at that point. When someone from the office phoned me I expressed how unhappy I was that I'd wasted a day at home and they just said they can cancel it then. Awful service will never use Halfords again.

Called the customer service department who are based in South Africa who advised due to an issue online the payment had been taken but did not allocate an order number/fitting.

Asked if they could fit a different brand of tyre - only to get told “we don’t hold any tyres at our hub” “If you want a refund it’s 3-5 working days” “We don’t know what other tyres we have - you will have to go-online and look and try and rebook but it won’t be today! Just dreadful service from a critical industry.

Appalling company. Quite happy to take your money and then ignore you. Not possible to track order in any way and not possible to speak to anyone online. A few years ago the service was not too bad but now I would avoid at all costs. They are clearly not interested in providing a quality service or building a reputable brand.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE They Send inexperienced fitters who damaged all 4 alloys on my Audi beyond repair 3 months later still chasing them

Use this service before it was bought out by Halfords and it was great. Use the service again in October 2023 and the service left a lot to be desired and also damage to my alloys. Taken 3 months to respond to my complaint and told me to pay out to get the wheels refurbished and then send through and invoice. Awaiting a response as this is not good enough.

I booked two tires to be changed and paid extra for the 6pm-8pm slot. The cost was over £500. On the day nobody showed up and there was no communication to say the appointment was cancelled or the engineer was delayed. This really messed up my plans as I was due to drive a long journey the following day. Unacceptable service and I advise to avoid using them.
