“I've wanted to drive an E type jag for most of my life and last christmas a present gave me the opportunity to fulfil that dream. The team at udrive were great, in particular my instructors mark (Austin Healey) and Perry (E type) they made the drives relaxed and great fun, helping me get the most out of the six lap drives with clear instructions and advice. Like all good things in life it was all over too soon, another couple of hours would of been ideal lol. Both cars were in top condition and performed wonderfully. I can highly recommend udrive if anyone wants to experience driving these classics.”

“I have had several drives in different cars with U Drive Cars and I must say that the organisation is always excellent and the staff are all very cheerful, polite and knowledgeable. The cars at all times appear to be well prepared and the actual drives are thrilling. I have also driven the two re-built special Jaguar E-Types and if you like driving fast classics, then you will remember the experience of their superior handling. I will return.”

“Had a great time , my original e voucher ( a birthday gift ) from my brother in Australia was for a helicopter ride but I exchanged it for the chance to drive the 1968 fastback Mustang with enough credit left over for a night,s stay in a hotel in Banbury as I was driving down from North Wales . I thought the event was well organised and despite all the exotic cars on the line up there is only one for me the true " classic " that is the 68 Mustang fastback . The drive of 6 laps was worth the journey I had to make , my only regret was not being able to take this car home ! thank you for a great day .”

“Exhilarating. I really enjoyed it. I guess I never expected to drive an E-Type Jag or a Mustang so it was an experience. I was slightly surprised at how much better the E-Type handles compared with the Mustang, but then the latter is a much heavier car.”

“I bought the first drive experience for my 14 year old son as a birthday treat. What an amazing experience he had, thoroughly enjoyed his driving session and even corrected my hold on the steering wheel on the way home!”

“Turned up early, but was moved forward, had the drivers briefing, so minimal waiting. I was very excited to get into the Aston Martin v12 & was impressed that the instructor let me get up to speed quickly & felt as comfortable as I did. I would have liked the track to be bigger so I could have really unleashed the Astons full power, but I was chuffed that I made a clean pass on another joy rider. I was impressed with the 1 lap thrill ride in the Mitsubishi WRC, the driver really nailed it, so overall very impressed & came away with a smile on my face.”

“Firstly I would just like to thank all those involved who helped make my day so enjoyable. The points I am about to make are from a personal point of view & would not stop me from recommending U Drive Cars to anyone I know. Being a wheelchair user it would help if the building is ramped in on arrival & out to the cars. A disabled toilet would be good but I did use the gents with difficulty. The cars were great. Out on the track I feel it would of benefited from wider corners, for example when a car in front was slowing down to exit the track via the pit lane I could of gone on their left hand side maintaining my speed. Thankyou once again for an enjoyable experience & if nothing changed it wouldn't stop me from coming again.”

“Wow! Driving the E type was amazing and I could have gone on all day! Over too quickly. Mustang not as good, bit disappointing. Pity our memory stick didn't work in our computer and it took many attempts to call and get someone yo tell us how to view it .”

“Given that I had driven for nearly 6 hours on a return journey to get just 15 mins in the car I felt let down. The car chosen for me [it was a Xmas present] was an E type Jaguar because, as a Jaguar owner for many years, this was my iconic car. The car was showing its age, poor interior, uncomfortable seat, lumpy engine, harsh transmission, no synchro on gear box, and, despite uprated brakes, less than positive braking feel and heavy steering. You will say that these " faults" are part of the experience in driving a 1970s vintage car, but I have driven 40 year old classic cars that had a much better driving experience. The circuit was small, could only just get into 4th gear before having to change down for the turn, consisted of only one left hand turn at either end of the straight and would greatly benefit from at least a figure of eight configuration. Whole set up seemed to be cheap and second rate yet demanding first rate charges. A similar experience at Llandow air field, about 30 mins away from me, offers 9 laps of a much bigger and exhilarating course using up to three different sports cars for around £80. Next time I know where I will be going.”
