“My day at Heyford was well organised from the start, the briefing was very good, the driver on the sighting lap gave a good explanation of the circuit and the instructors I had were very good and helped me with my driving experience on the circuit. I would recommend you to anybody who would like to do this event.”

“Good fun great to be able to drive those cars ! I drove the lambo and Ferrari ! I had a good time in the Ferrari but unfortunately the instructor in the Lambo made the experience uncomfortable and miserable because of his attitude he seemed annoyed and fed up and was quite happy to have a pop at me because of a mistake on the gears !!!”

“First of all may I thank all the staff at U Drive Cars for a superb day on Friday 13th October. My experience was purchased for me by my son and partner for a Christmas present to drive the E Type Jaguar which is my favourite sports car of all time and I certainly was not disappointed it was awesome !!!!!!! The biggest surprise was that my second favourite car is The Shelby 500GT Mustang and to find one here was the absolute icing on the cake and I had no hesitation in purchasing laps in that as well. I was amazed at the fact that the instructors were helping you to drive faster and faster each lap to get the most out of these beautiful and very expensive cars to maximise your experience. If they were mine I wouldn't let anybody breath on them never mind hurtling up the track as fast as I wanted to go so a massive thankyou to the owner of the cars for letting ordinary people realise there personal dreams . I found that all the staff were extremely knowledgable and professional and made you feel special and all wanted to help you fulfill your experience. Everything from the booking of the day either by internet or phone calls were all easily dealt with and the staff at the venue from the safety briefing talk to the instructors and even the bus driver were all very friendly. I must also mention the elderly gentleman who gave us the history talk and background to the airfield he really new his stuff and obviously is very passionate about the part he plays at the venue and it was nice to have something to do between drives. Of course I am giving you full 5 stars for the review which I think are extremely deserved but if I can make one small criticism that the cones around the track can be a little confusing and I wasn't always sure where I was supposed to be going, it might help if the cones around the bends were a different colour to the ones lining the straights but the instructors certainly kept me on the right course and with there encouragement helped me to go faster and faster each lap. I can't wait to come back again and maybe try one of the new fangled sport cars you have but for me (60 years old) the old classics will always be the best. No power steering here and brakes you really have to stand on .What a thrill . If you could add more classics to the stable (Jag Mk2 maybe or C Or D type) I am sure they would be very much appreciated Ha Ha . Thanks again I'll be back soon hopefully. “A good day out. My wife purchased the experience for a gift to me. I selected the Austin Healey as it was my favourite car as a youngster but I have never sat in one. When arranging the date I telephoned your office and asked what shoes would be preferable - if wearing trainers would be suitable and was told they would be. Unfortunately they were very a poor choice as they were too wide. The accelerator and brake pedals were very close together and I had maybe 1/2 inch to spare - my foot was catching the brake pedal when on the accelerator and so it was very difficult to co-ordinate everything when concentrating on not braking by accident. With the gearbox being quite old and loose and strange to me and also having to get used to the controls, I was not able to drive comfortably due to the distraction of the pedal problem. I have an MG Midget and even that is ok with trainers. I had to therefore drive very slowly and could not enjoy it as much as I would have liked. The E-Type drive was fantastic. No pedal problem and familiarization was therefore easier. Learning the track layout and the controls became better in each circuit and after 6 times round I wanted to do another 6 or 20 to improve my skills more. Mark was a brilliant teacher as he constantly gave me good instructions and was fully focused on how I was doing. Yes, the adrenaline is there and the experience just ends too quickly. Thanks a million - you are well organised and have a lot to think about in your planning and arrangements- I guess footwear advise would only be relevant in the Healey 3000 and it was unfortunate that I chose the wrong shoes without realising. I will come back if I ever have the chance. Thanks again.... Ian Thompson”

“Well organised, well thought out and still fun. Like the venue - keep the RAF veteran there. He filled a few spare moments with some really interesting and unexpected stuff. Instructor Mark put me at ease and made the whole experience really worthwhile.”

“Information provided before the event was excellent. On the day organisation was friendly and efficient and the instructors were helpful in getting the most out of the car. It was good that access for viewing was allowed for non-drivers.”
