“I was given a birthday present of driving an Aston Martin DB9 and an E type Jaguar. When I arrived In was encouraged by my Wife to add the Austin Healey 3000 and the Aston Martin DBS. I am so glad, as the experience in all 4 cars were so completely different. The tuition was excellent, and the experience as a whole was fantastic.”

“Well organised venue run by very friendly and encouraging staff. Excellent range of cars from real classics to 21st century supercars. Really helpful, professional co-drivers help you get the very best enjoyment from your drive, whether you just want the thrill of being behind the wheel, or a rapid sprint round the circuit..”

“Good day, overall very well organised and the instructors are helpful, friendly and encouraging. Only comment is the 'track' is pretty basic, whilst sufficient to experience the vehicles it isn't very interesting or long - i'd have preferred 3 longer laps of a more interesting track than the 6 shorter ones.”

“The venue and track were so underwhelming it was hard to believe. Up and down a bit of runway which needed maintenance where a load of mini cones marked the route was pathetic The £5 cranky minibus tour run to view the track was hilarious. 12 people paid £5 to go at 15 mph up and down the cone laden runs. Well that’s £60 profit bagged for nothing The reception girls and trackside girls were so unfriendly and disconnected to the customers it was embarrassing. Not a single smile. The cars were in terrible shape. I drove a 20!yr old Ferrari which had seen better days. Not the slick car I had been expecting. And the in car communication was poor. The driver not even introducing himself. I still don’t know his name but I did introduce myself. I did not appreciate the fear close insurance. When it’s a £5000 excess for 10 minutes driving it is ridiculous!! Really? Highlight was the old boy who knew the history of the airfield and the guy who welcomed you and explained what was going to happen Oh. Nearly forgot. If you want 1 photo it was £25. Yep. £25. Well you got 1-12 photos but all pretty much the same so you only needed 1. Why not just charge £5 Anyway. I won’t be recommending this out fit to anyone. Pay more and go to a proper track where the experience is truly welcoming and professional. Your choice. I’ve made mine. Couldn’t wait to leave.”

“The overall experience did not match how the event was promoted online as the facilities were very basic. Extra insurance costs were explained at check in so you felt pressurised on the spot for something that could have been included. The condition of the cars fell short of our expectations and the prices for doing a lap in a mini bus or saloon car seemed excessive so I did not add these to my experience. Overall I enjoyed the opportunity to drive different sports cars under the instruction of experienced drivers.”

“A great drive in a classic Mini. Only problem was the in car video didn't work, but photos of the drive were available. A good choice of cars to drive, from old classics to supercars. Staff all knowledgeable and friendly, all in all a well run facility.”

“Main observation was that it was difficult to identify the track because of the small cones and large spaces left in between. It would be better to have larger cones, more closely spaced, or even straw bales to define the circuit. Also, one instructor was significantly more friendly and communicative than the other. This should be more consistent as it has a massive impact on the experience overall. One of the cars (the Ferrari) was very old, and it seemed a struggle to drive. Also, the length of the long side meant that around half way down, I was being told to start braking (particularly in the Aston Martin, which had very heavy brakes). Overall, to be honest, the anticipation was more exciting than the experience itself.”

“Quite poor experience. "Track" made of cones, only two straights and two narrow bends. Some old cars like Ferrari I drove with 500 000 miles on the clock. Not much time to get familiar with the car and adjust the seat properly. Expensive for what you get.”

“I arrived at least 2 hours early and as a result my drive slot was brought forward, which I was very pleased about, thank you. The friendly staff could not be kinder and helpful, with a good briefing before the drive and also a trip around the course to see the lay out, highlighting the various brake & turn points. However I do feel that (1) the course could have been slightly longer and (2) the quality of the tarmac/ surface was pretty poor, bearing in mind I was driving both an E-type Jaguar and an Austen Healey both being at least 50 years old. To hammer them around this very bumpy course did rather take the edge off the experience as clearly there could, over time be damage to the cars running this track. So my advice to you would be to improve the track and this will heighten the pleasure of the experience and also help to increase the classic cars' useful life.”

“A brilliant day. Organisation was great, cars were excellent and people were all really helpful and friendly. Instructors were calm and positive and made sure you got the most out of your session. All went by incredibly quickly. Would definitely visit again, hopefully for a longer experience. Highly recommended.”
