“Very well organised. Didn't have to wait long to drive both cars. Friendly, helpful staff. Only downside was the track (though that's my own fault for not researching properly). Just an oval shape on the airfield, great fun accelerating on the straights, but that's about it. As I say - my own fault due to not researching properly. Still had a great day, but will look at other locations for next time.”

“Facility was not good, track was short, and the droving instructor seemed less experienced than myself. Car exhausts were far too quiet as well. However, how often do you get to drive a classic mustang?!!!”

“Fantastic experience and the cars were awesome. Suggested improvement would be viewing area for spectators and track layout to be longer to allow a greater thrill of Supercar experience.”

“Easy enough to find and parking is no problem. I found the staff very helpful, and the briefing was very informative, although shorter than expected, which means that the time for arrival was not too exact. I was booked for the Jaguar E-type experience; I didn't need to go flat out as all I wanted was a chance to drive this car. It was a memorable experience and met all of my wishes. I found that the car didn't have power steering and that the brakes were very stiff, but that didn't matter for my driving speed. I did 6 laps of the circuit with an instructor by my side, with helpful comments as we went. The oval circuit is about a mile long and marked out with cones. Faster cars pass easily on the straights and pose no problems. As this was a one-off experience, we opted for the complete photographic package, comprising a photo, a DVD of still photos (shot from one of the bends) and a memory stick full of the video of the drive. All in all a very memorable experience for this 70-year old codger.”

“Very well organised, clear instructions from instructors and useful feedback. Highly recommended. Only the video technology let itself down, only one of my four in car videos recorded correctly. Great day, I would definitely book a track day with U Drive Cars again.”

“All in all it was a very good experience. I didn't like that there was no prior information (at least on what I received) that you couldn't wear a go-pro for example as they have in car cameras and are then charged extra for the footage and images. I think this really should be highlighted before as it was more expensive for the 'official' items than the experience cost itself. I know these are 'option' purchases but they are quite expensive and many people who are on a 'once in a life time' experience may not be able to afford it. Otherwise cars and instructors were great - it's a bit of a shame the briefing talked about the track however the image used didn't match the track driven.”

“After i was forgotten for nearly an hour, the Mini drive was superb, the guy that came out with me was a really nice guy, made me feel at ease. The fast lap was great, makes me realise how badly i drive. Thanks for the experience.”

“Everything went v smoothly except for the guy with the clipboard who was calling people forward to the cars! There was a steady stream to the Porsches E-Types etc but no one to the Austin Healey which I was going to drive. After 15 mins, I asked when I would be called. He said in another 15 minutes when I have another instructor. I did not understand that since they were all multi car. After 40 minutes waiting I complained. He then got me an instructor immediately and I was taken for the experience. His failure detracted from the day.”

“Organisation excellent. Instructors delivered a very good balance of keeping everything under control but also pushing the cars. Cars ( e type and Hensley) superbly presented. Only niggle - track a bit boring and short.”

“Although I enjoyed driving cars it would be beneficial if the instructors/staff go on a deaf awareness course so that they can communicate better with deaf people.”

“The driving experience was better than most l have been to. Very little hanging around, track reasonable, but instructor was distracting by waving his arms about when l was trying to concentrate. He also forgot to tell me it was a paddle shift. Got stuck behind a slow car on 3 of the 6 laps, so a bit disappointing. All in all, would go again.”

“A very enjoyable time. The venue was easy to find with the directions given. The drive itself was excellent a pity it could not have been a bit longer. Staff were helpful & friendly. Would recommend to friends.”

Thanks for the feedback. You only had three laps in the cars you drove, which would have been a special offer experience. We offer you the chance to double your laps when you redeem otherwise for some customers it is too short. The full six lap drive gives you more time to enjoy the experience! Kind regards Clare

“good overall day , especially the Healey felt the lap was too short and a bit slow i suppose it was more about the experience rather than speed facility's were ok and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful would recommend to others”

“I drove the Aston Martin DB9 with Rob - he was great, giving very calm and controlled instructions which made the experience a pleasure. I enjoyed the event so much that I am treating my daughter to a drive of a Lotus Elise as soon as we can fir it in! Thanks for a memorable day, Tom.”
