I would give them a zero if possible. A tip was added twice after I had submitted the order without one. Delivery and food were good. Customer service is appalling. I have attempted resolution 4 times and no response to resolve. Will have to involve my bank.

Don't purchase ubereats vouchers. Especially not from 3rd party retailers like Lovetoshop.com etc. They send you invalid vouchers that are marked as 'already redeemed' when you try claiming the voucher via the ubereats app. The ubereats in-app support center, 3rd party retailer and ubereats Twitter support page refuse to help and keep sending you to the wrong departments for a solution. They have closed all my requests for help without refunding me the £50 I spent on the ubereats voucher. They are criminals. Don't buy ubereats gift cards/vouchers from them or 3rd party retailers. Save your money and buy from trusted companies.

UBEREats is fine, my problem is with the grocery order function. I recommend no one use it - use Instacart instead. A shopper can pick any replacement (no matter how bad, expensive or ridiculous), wait until checkout to tell you of the replacement so that you can’t approve it and then Uber won’t offer you a refund. They say that the shopper has the right to make a best replacement based on their discretion if no specific item is chosen. But when I make choices for specific replacements, the shoppers don’t read the instructions and just refund items without communicating. Meaning that no matter what the shopper is always in the right but not the buyer. I am an UberOne member and customer service just says they can’t do anything when the grocery service is awful. The shoppers don’t care, they’re just there to get in and out asap.

Ubereats charged my credit card 3 extra times. $ 180 meal including tip, now cost near $ 800 dollars. Now my credit card is suspended.

We were not in town to receive an accidental placed order but order eats didn't cancel and Provide me a refund for it. The food just got delivered and stayed there two days before we can throw it as it is. This is so disappointing! Beyond frustrating!

These cold people Laugh at you on the phone when you ask where your order is. My wife and I Have health issues and in our 70s and tonight for my wife’s birthday dinner the driver just took it home This has happened to us 23 times And they promise a credit we never get. Their drivers think this is funny They are not accountable as a large non approachable corporation that keeps you on hold 3 hours until you give up They are never gonna do anything to this company for stealing money from us Will someone else help us?

Since the bicycle delivery option has started, my order never ever arrives on time, it`s always an hour late if not more. One time I called and asked the delivery person why are you getting late he got upset and broght me the food, when I opened my food there was clearly a spit in the food box and when I complained the support just said we are sorry for your bad experience and did`nt take no action against the driver. I know that because after a week which was today I saw the same driver delivering to my friends house. I have never used Uber eats since that day and today I also told my friend not to use uber eats. I will advise all you guys if you don`t want to go through that experience or eat food with spit of Uber driver stop using uber eats. DoorDash is much much better.

Their policies let drivers steal food if you do not answer the phone. Customer service is atrocious and they literally deserve to go out of business. Competitors are ahead in both areas by so, so much. Rarely do I find a company with such terrible policies and service.

Ordered on a Friday. Driver brought shopping that wasn't mine. Told me I would be refunded. Payment was pending until Monday, and then cleared!! Because it's been over 48 hours I can't get a refund. They've effectively stolen from me and there's nothing I can do. I'm disabled and was left without food or money. They should be ashamed.

I got notification on my app that my order had arrived at my door (I use the leave at door option), and when I opened my front door, no order in sight! I contacted customer service on the app to inform them I didn’t receive my order. They stated that since the driver confirmed drop off, I’m not eligible for refund…I explained that the driver dropped it off SOMEWHERE, but it wasn’t my address because it wasn’t there! Then they stated that I should’ve used to “meet at door” option to make sure I got my items. Well, why even have the “leave at door” option if you can’t leave it at the right address?

I placed the order and accepted the total amount included tax and admin fee. It didn’t show and ask for tips option. Until I received the credit card statement and there’s a additional charges to my credit for 20% tips. Please be aware that they can put additional charges to your credit card without your authorisation. They did it in purpose. I only accept the total amount for the food and fees before I placed the order. I didn’t accept any fees other than that.

Terrible service. God forbid if you have to cancel your order after placing it. Even if you cancel after 1 min they will charge you. Worst part is they will pretend like they are allowing you to cancel, then after 10 min say the restaurant started food preparation and so we can’t cancel. Then they will charge you for the food and cancelling the order, even when they didn’t cancel it!!! I chatted with the customer service and after parroting some standard message (full of bullshit) she ended the chat! Very corrupt practices. I hope someone sues them.

I used uber eats for a shop delivery this weekend as I had no car and the shopping I needed would of been to heavy to carry. I saw they had a £10 voucher for over £25 spend, very useful I thought at the time. I put my shopping in and they took the £10 off, until the payment went through, it was then added back on. I received my shopping no I never I received 1 item out of 10, claimed for the refund for the rest, so in the end I literally paid double the price as there charges and delivery charged. Fuming was an understatement. I will never be using these again.

Abysmal customer services. After placing 93 orders without issue, order 94 was totally wrong and an inability for Uner Eats customer services to resolve it, ensured I deleted my account & will never use them again

I ordered a pizza from Uber eats , shortly after the order the restaurant called to say they can’t deliver as I live too far , I thought that was the end of that but on my account the next day £15.14 was pending from Uber eats . I called the restaurant and they said Uber eats will refund you in a few days . Well 4 days later Uber eats has charged me ! and will not refund me as 48 hr have passed ! . They have been patronising ! And disinterested ! . I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to press something . Never will I order from them again

I would not give even one star for Uber Eats and its DRIVER whose name is JACKSON ANTONIO. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday. I live in Greenford. I ordered food from McDonald’s in the Westway Shopping Centre using Uber Eats. It was not the first time, and never ever any driver had any problem reaching my address. THE DRIVER DID NOT ARRIVE AT ALL! I saw on the app map that he stopped at the other end of the road, which was just a 1-minute ride from me. I texted him that he is in the wrong place and he needs to drive a little bit further, but he was messaging me back something in Portuguese. Then a message came that he tried to contact me, which was absolutely a lie. It was me who was trying to call him many times, but he just rejected my phone calls and I was texting him many times, no reply. Maybe because he did not speak English. After I got a message that he cannot localise my address and he had just gone away. Then I received the photo of my order being left somewhere outside the building. It was not my address. So disappointing. Kids were hungry. How can a driver be so irresponsible, with such bad communication? What he has done to my order I don’t know. I lost almost £18. Maybe it is not much, but how can I trust this company again, that allows such irresponsible people to work there, without knowing basic English? I complain to UberEats, but the reply was that I am not eligible for a refund, because the delivery person tried to contact me (which is FALSE) and he waited for 7 min to deliver the order (at the wrong address).

Everything went wrong from my order delivery to the customer support chat. Area : Calgary Date : August 7,2023 Chat support person : Jii Delivery Person : FANTAYE Ordered food from a restaurant and the delivery person didnt come to house or cancel my order for 15 mins above the expected time. I called her and she talked about not delivering the order as she is at her home and asked me to order again. Then i chatted with support and the lady"Jii" mentioned that she cannot do anything to reassign the delivery person unless the first person cancel the order. Then she also didnt give any link to rate this delivery person. She gave ONLY option to cancel the order from their system and when i asked her to tell me how i can rate this chat, she simply disconnected. Worst every experience with UBER EATS in alberta and beware of these kind of customer supports. thanks

Ordered food and never got it. Called customer service and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Claims the driver left the food in a safe location, outside my residence. Ridiculous! No knock at the door. No text. No call.
