“I ordered the flosser and it made my gums bleed and left them feeling very sore - and that was on the so-called 'gentle' setting. The customer service is almost non-existent - they simply have ignored my emails after their initial response. I explained to them about the problems I've had with the flosser. As soon as they realised they might possibly need to give me a refund they refused to reply. It's quite upsetting as it's expensive and Spotlight simply don't care about helping me.”
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Spotlight Oral Care. We are so sorry to hear that the flosser had caused you to experience gum bleeding and soreness on the gentle setting. That is certainly not what we strive for and we have never heard of this happening before.
Sometimes people may not be used to using a Water Flosser and at first, it can cause a little discomfort. If your gums are not used to the stimulation from a water flosser, they may initially bleed. This is common and usually subsides with regular use. As your gums get healthier with consistent water flossing, you may notice less bleeding. The water flosser can help remove plaque and bacteria, which in turn reduces inflammation and bleeding. Generally, if you are transitioning from traditional flossing to a water flosser, your gums may need some time to adapt.

“I have been using Spotlight Oral Care for 2 years now and absolutely love the products. I use whitening toothpaste and mouthwash usually but also tried and loved different range, against decay and it is superb. I love their dental floss too, it really gets the job done unlike many other ones I tried before, which either split and tangle or just slide through (plasticky ones). The whitening pen is great and I am now trying excellerator whitening drops together with my toothpaste which really compliments whitening routine and is quite effective! I have to also say that I was very happy with the customer services when I received an order which was slightly damaged. I have emailed about it and after 3 days (!!!) I have received replacement items plus a free gift. They also are a sustainable company which cares about environment, is vegan and cruelty free. Love this company. Thank you.”

“The toothbrush head itself should be rubber - I found it very jarring when it touches my teeth - bangs against them….ultra fast vibrations need some getting used to. Teeth do feel very clean. Nice product - packaging - travel case all very good quality.”
