my first Spotlight no longer holds any battery charge after just over 2 years. i only replaced it bc i had a bunch of brush heads i didnt want to waste.
I ordered a new one, which never arrived. it's now been over a week since i alerted the Spotlight team to the issue, and my replacment has not even shipped. it's stuck on Label Created for two days. no one has replied to my queries about the status.
responses are often >24 hours. if i ever get my replacement i will be using it until the brush heads are finished and moving to another brand.

“I bought the Sonic Pro toothbrush from a Guardian recommendation (which rated it the best electric toothbrush overall, btw) and I have not been disappointed. It takes some getting used to as it feels like no other brush I've ever used, but it does a fantastic job! I got used to the tickle after about 3 days. It's very good value for money and more importantly it really works. If like me you're stuck in a dental desert this is an investment well worth making”

“The water flosser is great and easy to use. The UV feature to kill bacteria was the real reason I selected it, my old water flosser started to taste slightly mouldy and didn't feel very hygienic after a while.
The reason I knocked a star off the review is that the base is extremely difficult to attach to the top half, the threads don't seem to line up correctly.”

“This is my second toothbrush from Spotlight Oral Care and this time I purchased the sonic, love the polish function. My teeth always feel clean and now I feel like I have just come from the dentists after using the polish function. Love that they are designed by dentists and happy all round with the performance and charging abilities this toothbrush provides. And, more importantly, they are so reasonabley priced in comparison to some other hyped up toothbrushes that don't do any better a job than the Spotlight Oral Care ones.”
“Very pleasantly surprised at how really good this toothbrush is. I had no real expectations other than hoping it would be better than my last two run of the mill electric toothbrushes. After reading a review in one of the national newpapers, I decided to give it a go - the fact the toothbrush was on offer was an added bonus.
It has taken me a week or so to get used to the sonic action of the toothbrush but am understanding better how to use it now. At first I felt it gave me a food clean but saw no real difference in how my teeth felt (disclaimer here, I do visit my dentist every six months and usually have a scale and polish each time).
But after about 4 days I could really feel a difference in the build up of plaque on my teeth. Then I began to feel that the amount of scale might be reducing. I am due a visit to the dentist later this month and I can feel the scale on some of my teeth.
I shall be very interested in what my dentist and hygenist have to say but I am really delighted. I have not tried the whitening feature yet but will do so after my appointment.
I'm always reluctant to recommend thimgs after only a short while of using them but let's just say so far, very good!”
“I bought the toothbrush ages ago when my Sonicare stopped working.
This seems a much more simplistic design, but I definitely prefer it.
I've had 5 or 6 Sonicare brushes, but the heads seem to vibrate off the metal pin after a while.
Also the metal pin eventually wears out whatever damper configuration holds it in place.
The Spotlight also stays cleaner as no rubber bits, mine still looks brand new.”
