“I had thought that this company and its insurers were ok, but in 2023 they have hiked prices by 50 percent. There is no assistance in reaching a reasonable rebuild cost or guidance about how to control costs by amending cover. One is left to just 'suck it up'. I don't think the staff are really experienced brokers...just reading a script.. no explanation of why prices have gone up so much...just vague references such as :- ''some of our insurers have increased premiums by 20 percent or more'' OK so I am still asking why have my quotes gone up by 50 percent ???? No explanation is forthcoming. I feel someone must be profiteering. Loyalty does not pay apparently. DYOR as they say.”

Dear Mr Patient, Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you feel let down with our service. I can assure you this was not the intention. When you contacted us on the 13th of April we advised that there had been significant increased across all insurers due to inflation and rise in cost of materials etc and that we had reviewed your current policy prior to issuing you your renewal, we also advised we had looked across our panel of insurers to see if we had anything more competitive for you which unfortunately we had not. With regards to help with the rebuild value of your property, unfortunately, as a broker are unable to offer advice on rebuild costs however there is a website available called the BCIS Calculator which will help you calculate this.
