“The procurement process was fine. The delivery was a mixed bag. Basically there were two magazines for dispatch from UK to Australia - for our grandsons (aged 6 & 11). One arrived very promptly ***** ! but the other has yet to arrive :-( boohoo. The ultimate performance is subject to the vagaries of a multitude of transport providers - I do understand that, but the final result was shambolic ..”

However, the good news is the magazine will always be posted first class to ensure delivery before the weekend viewing commences. We do try to keep our pricing as low as we are able. As suppliers of these magazines rather than publishers, we have to take a few things into account including the cover price, postage and packaging costs when selling the magazines. If we are ever able to offer discounts it will be shown on our website or sent directly to our loyal customers! Going forward, we are actually planning on offering monthly discount rates/offers depending on each month. This is our plan of action so do keep an eye out for these! “Having ordered a Private Eye subscription as a Christmas present for my son-in-law I realised that, apart from the invoice, I did not have anything on paper that I could give him as the actual present to confirm what I had done. I telephoned the UM office the week before Christmas to ask whether they had anything that would serve this purpose. I spoke to a really helpful young lady who said that although they didn't really have anything, she had a template that she thought she could adjust to do the job. A couple of days later I received a certificate naming him personally and telling him what the gift was. Needless to say he was delighted.
